Sparkling Red Star (2007 film)[edit]

Comment: Since this is an animated adaption of a live action, which is in turn an adaptation of a book, we could probably just merge this content into the article for the first film if all else fails. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 18:19, 22 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Keep. Besides the source I added, which is a 16-page academic peer reviewed article from 2011 about htis review, it got coverage in AP [1] and it was shortlisted ofr a Hong Kong animation award. [2] Several pages of this paper also discuss it. Keep - This is a feature-length film by a famous director distributed countrywide by a major Chinese studio, easily meets WP:NFILM. in addition to the English sources mentioned by Patar knight, it has received significant coverage in Chinese media, see People's Daily, China.com, Sichuan Online, Nanfang, Sohu, and many others. -Zanhe (talk) 17:03, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
