Non-notable storage finding company. It's nice that it exists, but it doesn't actually provide storage facilities, just helps people find them. Should be deleted as per WP:Notability Frmatt (talk) 01:45, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sparefoot has significant coverage as a startup company. Reliable sources: covered by New York Times, Mashable and several local media channels: http://www.sparefoot.com/press I'm adding Mashable citation to strengthen notability requirement. Will this do? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ioda006 (talk • contribs) 01:59, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment While there is definitely enough coverage to meet WP:Verify, I'm still not sure that it meets WP:NOTABLE. The company by itself is not yet a year old, and while it appears interesting, I'm not sure it deserves an entry. However, I will leave it for the greater community to decide. - I'm really not sure what WP:NOTDIRECTORY has to do with it. Please elaborate. — Rankiri (talk) 05:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Possible sources. From the article's references, Google News and http://www.sparefoot.com/press :
- http://www.bizjournals.com/austin/stories/2009/07/13/daily19.html (Austin Business Journal)
- http://www.dailybruin.com/stories/2009/jan/23/business-founders-think-outside-box/ (Daily Bruin)
- http://cbs5.com/consumer/rental.storage.household.2.957877.html (CBS 5)
- http://mashable.com/2009/03/12/homstie/ (Mashable)
- I'm not familiar with any of these news sources. Mashable appears to be a blog and it is doubtful that it can be counted as a reliable source (see WP:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_16#Blogs.3F).
- Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so consensus may be reached.

- weak keep bizjournal and CBS5 are both notable and reliable sources. - Drew Smith What I've done 09:24, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- weak keep also. The articles are from an Austin source, a SF source and a LA source, so I think its coverage is more than just local Corpx (talk) 22:39, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
