December 2014[edit]

Ok guys. Seriously? You've got to stop begging for money. This is how once great websites die. The ad (because, lets face it, thats what it is) takes up the entire page. The word "Wikipedia" is the only thing I could see below it. Thats worse than having a single, plain banner ad at the top. You have got to be more imaginative. There are better ways Wikipedia can make money. Stop waiting around for the mythical "consensus" and just be bold. I know someone in power here, and beaurocrat, or maybe even just an admin, has some idea, so strategy, that could save this website. Maybe you've tried to put it out there, but "consensus" couldn't be reached. Consensus will never be reached. Stop waiting for it. Just do it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Drew R. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
