  • Comment. I worked it over some and added a bunch of sources. I'll admit that I'm not knowledgeable about Christian music or preachers, but there's enough coverage out there that he seems notable, including [1] in This Is My Story: 146 of the World's Greatest Gospel Singers, [2] from The Arizona Republic, and [3] from Billboard (a small blurb, but not everyone's career makes it into Billboard). The awards are generally for his work in music groups, but I think they would count for something. It hasn't been easy to find sources about him specifically (and not the band), but I think a person more familiar with Christian music could probably source it better than me.
