I am currently doing research on Western consumption of Yaoi, and was hoping to find some useful information about y!Gallery here on wikipedia (to springboard ideas). I was saddened to find that this page was deleted! Based on the preserved discussion above, I see that the decision to delete was based on the idea that y!Gallery is "not notable." I just wanted to add my $.02 and state that y!Gallery boasts over 13,000 active accounts and is one of the few notable and respectable sites for the consumption of yaoi in the West, and also the subject of scholarly research. It is comparable to DeviantArt in scope and importance. --Djfinn (talk) 00:06, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. I do not believe that the article in question is sufficiently notable to merit inclusion in Wikipedia. — Mike • 03:46, 21 June 2006 (UTC)

  • Keep Notable as per 21,000 Google entries and various awards. The thing was up for deletion just 10 days ago--There should be an AfD Double jeopardy grace period. AdamBiswanger1 03:53, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
