Greetings. You've wandered into my user page. I don't focus on single articles or wikiprojects; mostly I just tweak an article when I see grammar errors or glaring factual omissions. If I've upset you with one of my edits, by all means, leave a comment for me in the article's talk page or on my talk page; it doesn't benefit the encyclopedia to have delete wars. Reaching some sort of consensus is better, even if it is usually a gutless eviscerated fact-expunged sort of consensus.
Everyone else has a lot of little boxes on their user pages describing themselves. Sadly, I don't fit into boxes, being rather non-orthogonal in composition (I appear to be made of meat and don't have any geometrically flat surfaces).
Categorizing is just a means of gaining an excuse not to pay attention to what someone else is saying, to denigrate and disrespect the uniqueness of their views. If you openly categorize yourself before going into a debate, you have essentially given others free license to completely ignore whatever you have to say. Therefore I decline to categorize myself.
I will, out of a sense of whimsy, release a small assortment of details, since they will not be of any use for that purpose.
I am a member of species and sub-species Homo Sapiens Sapiens, though I think it's a shockingly inapt and transparently self-congratulatory designation. Simia Violens would seem more fitting.
My internet name is that of a villainous character from a book by Stephen R. Donaldson. I chose this because at the time it seemed less cliche than being another Raistlin, though today I realize how this was cliche in a different way altogether. Those who enjoy expanding their vocabulary are highly recommended to discover Donaldson's works; all others are advised to steer well clear. I feel fine with giving out this information, as I think that if anyone goes to all the trouble to read five gigantic books just to figure out who I named myself after, then the joke's on them.
I am just shy of 4 cubits tall, and am as heavy as 15 ten-pound bars of gold.
I can hum and whistle at the same time. Others find it very annoying when I do this, so I usually refrain.
OK, I relent - here are some labels you can use for me. I am an autodidact, a supertaster, and suffer from spheksophobia and severe delayed sleep phase syndrome. That's all you get.
Hmm... I suppose those weren't very helpful, were they? Oh well. I suppose you'll have no alternative but to keep an open mind when reading what I have to say. Think of it as a challenge, and try not to be angry with me.
