Oppose - I don't see the argument here. This article has been here for a long time and lists of notable people are allowed WP:LISTPEOPLE. This one is no different from other list of surname articles like List of people with surname Smith (in fact we have entire category of such articles Category:Lists_of_people_sharing_a_surname. Keep for the same reason at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of people with the Korean family name Moon. Category:Lists of people by name has about a thousand articles in it. No difference between this and so many others. Start a RFC if you want to get rid of all of them. Dream Focus 11:34, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Delete this is the very definition of grouping people by shared name. Just because people have this last name does not mean they are overall related. Wikipedia is not a reliable source, and our early days were a lawless wild with no regulation of content. Having been around a while is in no way a sign that something is actually notable nor that we need an article on it.John Pack Lambert (talk) 18:28, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Undecided, but leaning toward delete. Kim is the most common surname in a country with a few really popular surnames: 21.51% of the people were Kims as of 2015, according to List of South Korean surnames by prevalence. Clarityfiend (talk) 03:52, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Entirely standard practice to have articles listing people with the same surname, I see no rationale for why this one should be treated differently to e.g. List of people with surname Smith as mentioned above.----Pontificalibus 16:20, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Merge to Kim (surname). Name lists are valid per MOS:DABNAME. It's not always definitive who has the Korean name, and it gets presumptuous if the person is from a Western country but is of Korean descent.—Bagumba (talk) 10:39, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
