There exists Science and technology in Germany. Xx236 (talk) 10:54, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - the editor who created this is very new and has other 'Lists of [Nationality] Scientists' that were deleted or draftified from the mainspace. However I don't think an equivalent of this list exists via Science and technology in Germany - but does there need to be? Either way, this article is not worth keeping in its current format. Keep for the moment, and encourage merging new entries from List of German scientists. The full List of German scientists is rather unhelpful to readers. By splitting the list into time-periods, and providing very brief indications of what the person did/was, this new list helps readers find relevant articles. Imagine a reader who's interested in major figures of the 18th Century, or interested in astronomy. The List of German scientists is useless to them, but the new list will help them navigate rapidly to 18th C astronomers. Its entries are also blue-linked people. We should encourage this sort of helpful navigation aid. It may, however, be necessary either to rename the list as by historical period, or divide it truly by centuries.
