Even a cursory check reveals, for example, four reviews in the current decade at Kirkus, nine at Publisher's Weekly, several at Library Journal, about twenty in various SFFH genre publications, and even a favorable piece in the New York Times Book Review. Google Scholar shows that her works are frequently discussed in academic publications and regarded as substantial. It is painfully apparent that neither the nominator nor the delete !voter have made the slightest effort to actually evaluate the actual notability of this author.
