• Comment - This map from OCHA shows Gomaar as being northwest of "Sheygosh" (Shekosh), which corresponds to 7.485°N 43.816°E / 7.485; 43.816, called "Giadabele" on Google Maps. There appears to be a masjid, "elemantry" school, and a couple other buildings in town. However, I can't find much of anything in RS about these places. AviationFreak💬 16:38, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

  Note: This OCHA map shows Gomaar and Giadabele as being two different places; the settlement coordinates above (Google Maps' Giadabele) have at least one business location whose name references Gomaar. AviationFreak💬 16:47, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

• Weak redirect to Shekosh (woreda). Even with AviationFreak's helpful verification work above, it doesn't seem that we can say anything about this place beyond that it exists and is in Shekosh district. -- Visviva (talk) 03:43, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
