Does not meet WP:ARTIST. Gadd apparently no longer performs professionally but works as a piano tuner (http://www.floydgadd.com). He also requested that his article be deleted at BLPN (see also http://www.floydgadd.com/wikipedia/ for his reasons). Finally, even when he performed, there is no indication that he was a major artist. Bbb23 (talk) 16:17, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. I was about to WP:PROD this myself. There are some Google News hits on his name from WP:ROUTINE concert announcements back in the day, but not a single on topic Google Books hit (except a mention in a genealogical book "Floyd+Gadd"), so I think wp:notability is marginal here. Can't find any independent in-depth coverage. The only in-depth sources in the article are the subject's resume from way back. FuFoFuEd (talk) 16:22, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Not notable, per nominator. The fact he personally wants the article gone, and has made an excellent case for why, is extra. --GRuban (talk) 17:23, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - per the above. Snowball anyone? ukexpat (talk) 18:31, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. I support WP:Snowball in this case as User:Ukpat suggests. 194.138.39.59 (talk) 21:30, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete, per above, endorse snowball. --Nuujinn (talk) 01:16, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
