Unnecessary – this is one kind of pumpkin soup and the article is written as a recipe. Previously PRODded, author removed PROD and renamed the page as evasion. Parts of it could be salvaged for Pumpkin soup, the rest are not notable. Ari T. Benchaim (talk) 11:21, 22 May 2022 (UTC)

• Comment Pumpkin soup describes a soup made from the flesh of pumpkins (or other squashes; squash soup redirects there). Egusi is a term for the seeds of plants that are mostly described as melons. Melon/squash/pumpkin are all rather imprecise terms for various cucurbit fruits, but I don't think there is any source of egusi seeds that would be called a pumpkin. This is not the same topic as pumpkin soup. There is an existing egusi soup that redirects to egusi. Plantdrew (talk) 02:54, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
• Merge with Egusi or Redirect: Since there's an existing article on Egusi, Merging and creating a section for all the different types of soup that can be made with Egusi is decent instead of having different pages.
