This soccer player has now 24 years old and still no career. He is still a substitute in a 2e division portuguese club, in short without prospects of doing anything noticeable in an encyclopedia. Comment Notability is a threshold and is not temporary and since he must have significant coverage in multiple reliable sources he passes GNG. Delete: Passes WP:NFOOTY technically as he played in the cup when his club were in the 2nd Division and so were Santa Clara but he does not pass WP:GNG. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:27, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Keep Passes WP:FOOTY has played a Cup games [1] and [2] involving clubs then playing in the Segunda Liga a fully WP:FPL .Now he is currently playing a division below in the Campeonato de Portugal (league). He is only 24 years and is actively playing and has made at least 8 appearances already in the current season. Delete - two substitute appearances a number of years ago (to technically meet NFOOTY) is not enough when he comprehensively fails GNG. Some COMMONSENSE is needed here, and plenty of AFD precedent exists to say that barely passing NFOOTBALL is not enough when you fail GNG, see Oscar Otazu, Vyacheslav Seletskiy, Aleksandr Salimov, Andrei Semenchuk, Artyom Dubovsky, Cosmos Munegabe, Marios Antoniades, Scott Sinclair, Fredrik Hesselberg-Meyer, Matheus Eccard, Roland Szabó (2nd nomination), Metodija Stepanovski, Linas Klimavičius, Takumi Ogawa, Nicky Fish and Andrei Nițu, amongst others.
