2022 Tipperary Senior Football Championship

Article about a future Gaelic football tournament that is too soon and does not satisfy event notability guidelines. The one reference is not about the upcoming competition but about the 2021 championship match. There is no significant coverage because there is no documented coverage, which is in turn because the event is in the future.

An article was created in article space and moved to draft space. A stub was then created again in article space. An unregistered editor then copy-pasted the schedule from the draft to the article, which would cause attribution problems if the article were worth keeping, but it is not. Tournament is starting in the next day or so, reference to fixtures now added.

Speedy keep: We have loads of future sports events here (2036 Summer Olympics, anyone?) so that's not a problem. Also, we have articles on the previous 8 seasons of this competition at Category:Tipperary Senior Football Championship. As it turns out, it has just started, with Upperchurch-Drombane GAA defeating Cahir GAA today. The source calls it the "FBD Insurance county senior football championship" (not to be confused with the FBD Insurance League). I think the nominator should withdraw. Delete due to WP:NEVENT and partly because of WP:INDISCRIMINATE. Even the other years don't appear to have enough sourcing to constitute notability. WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS does not cut it for me. SWinxy (talk) 06:10, 10 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
