Disambiguation link notification for July 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Motorways of Pakistan, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Hub and Dadu (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Please update your 2020 Gilgit-Baltistan Constituency Winner map[edit]

2020 Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections result

@Ytpks896:

Hello! You've created a very nice map on the winners of each constituency of Gilgit-Baltistan, but I must tell you that it is slightly out of date now.

At the moment the PTI candidate actually has won GBLA-2 (Gilgit-II) by a total of two votes over the PPP candidate. This is the only issue with your map at the moment. -- Abbasi786786 (talk) 14:42, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. Srijanx22 (talk) 01:58, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

First of all you are not explaining your edits in summary, you are changing information on your based views, Mehrgarh is the oldest civilization in South Asia which is mentioned in references but you are continuously changing it to Balochistan and adding terrorism in challenges section without any source or reference & you are blaming me for disruptive edits. Ytpks896 (talk) 02:43, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Why you are leaving dubious edit summaries? Mehrgarh is not mentioned as "oldest civilization" by the source. It only says "provided the earliest known undisputed evidence for farming and pastoral communities in the region".[1] You are misunderstanding it as "oldest civilization in South Asia" because there are many more sites older than Mehrgarh in South Asia. Mehrgarh exists in Balochistan. It is a no-brainer that Terrorism in Pakistan is a very big issue in Pakistan as confirmed by recent reliable sources.[2] I haven't touched any 'challenges' section' but the mention of terrorism existed in the earlier version until it was removed without a good reason.[3]
What you are doing is indeed disruptive editing. Any further edit warring will be reported. Srijanx22 (talk) 04:36, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

First i'm not leaving dubious summaries and here is clearly mentioned Mehrgarh#History is the oldest civilization in South Asia. Second you are adding "Terrorism in Pakistan" with unNeutral indian references, which is against Wikipedia POV, If you continues doing this I will go to Administrators' noticeboard and this matter will be solved there. Ytpks896 (talk) 06:51, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So first you misrepresented the source and now you are doubling down by wikilinking to Mehrgarh#History which also say "is one of the earliest known sites which show evidence of farming and herding in South Asia" than call it outright oldest civilization. Statements by European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS) cannot be dismissed as "Indian references". Do you have evidence that Yahoo news misrepresented them? You are welcome to take this to WP:ANI given your lack of acknowledgement of your disruptive editing is clearly concerning. Srijanx22 (talk) 10:11, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not misrepresented the source. Read [note 1] and adding about Terrorism in article and giving the reference of Yahoo they published the story of ANI which is know as a propaganda tool of Indian government & In 2020 EU DisinfoLab exposed ANI for anti-Pakistan propaganda campaign.

  1. ^ Excavations at Bhirrana, Haryana, in India between 2006 and 2009, by archaeologist K. N. Dikshit, provided six artefacts, including "relatively advanced pottery," so-called Hakra ware, which were dated at a time bracket between 7380 and 6201 BCE.[1][2][3][4] These dates compete with Mehrgarh for being the oldest site for cultural remains in the area.[5]

Yet, Dikshit and Mani clarify that this time-bracket concerns only charcoal samples, which were radio-carbon dated at respectively 7570–7180 BCE (sample 2481) and 6689–6201 BCE (sample 2333).[6][7] Dikshit further writes that the earliest phase concerns 14 shallow dwelling-pits which "could accommodate about 3–4 people."[8] According to Dikshit, in the lowest level of these pits wheel-made Hakra Ware was found which was "not well finished,"[8] together with other wares.[9]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ytpks896 (talkcontribs)

Those sources contradict you. Just read them. The report from ANI can be confirmed through any other reliable sources,[4] and there are also others[5][6] who have same concern. You need strong evidence to prove terrorism as a non-issue but so far you have no rebuttal. Srijanx22 (talk) 17:07, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding maps[edit]

Since it is AGAINST indian law to show any Wrong Map of india[10], and also indian govt has officialy asked wikipedia to change this maps[11], this is necessary to change these maps. otherwise indian govt can OFFICIALY ban wikipedia in india. As we all know wikipedia is already ban in countries like China. and the largest userbase wikipedia has is of India, i dont think that wikipedia would like to loose its vast userbase. So this is my suggestion to you that wikipedia should not use wrong map of india. NOTE: I am not a indian citizen Talktotommy (talk) 04:41, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User:Oshwah - first of all i am not a indian citizen so this is not MY country. Secondly, i am a wellwisher of wikipedia. Wikipedia has its largest userbase in India not in Pakistan(the affected country by map edits), Indian government is very Strict regarding India's Maps. So if wikipedia doesn't comply to Indian laws, it can lead to Permanent ban on WIkipedia, which will lead to huge loses to wikipedia as it is already facing after China's ban. so i suggest not to Disobey Indian Laws, and comply with them to safeguard wikipedia from banning in india. and if we use correct maps of india only one country Pakistan will have issues, which has a very little userbase as compared to India. SO PLEASE SAVE WIKIPEDIATalktotommy (talk) 05:08, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

December 2021[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Samaro, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 14:20, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

District officials[edit]

Hi, Police district commissioners and district health officers are NOT leaders of local administration; in addition, police districts are not same as administrative districts. So, please revert your additions of these two post titles to infoboxes. Thanks. — kashmīrī TALK 17:05, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Kashmiri: I'm not agree with you, because district police officer & health officer are the head of their department service in whole district, if you have any reliable proof of your claim then show it. Ytpks896 (talk) 06:42, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not asking you to agree with me. I'm informing you that this parameter is NOT for storing the organigramme of the city administration or the police force. Please read the template documentation - the parameter is for the settlement's civilian leaders: city mayor, head of council, local MP, etc.
Besides, we don't add add "N/A" in infoboxes, as you have been doing for the last couple of days.
I suggest you remove all such edits. — kashmīrī TALK 12:48, 13 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not storing the 'organogram of the city administration" these 3 posts are the governing bodies of the Pakistan's district government i don't think their is a ban on adding them in infobox many countries district articles contains District government body's posts in infobox for example see districts of india Bastar district, Sonbhadra district and Bangladesh Chittagong District Rajshahi District. The “Ethnic Groups of Pakistan” needs to be updated. That page has outdated data.[edit]

I edited this page using the stats from the 2017 Pakistan Census but someone edited it back using the CIA Factbook (which is outdated).

The actual stats can also be found on the Pakistan Languages Wikipedia page.

Punjabis are 38.78% of the population not 44.7%. Pashtuns are 18.24% of the population not 15.2% Sindhis are 15.7% of the population not 15.2%. There are many more corrections needed too.

The CIA Factbook has used outdated data so please use the official 2017 Pakistan Census as a source. MT111222 (talk) 21:32, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Hello @EdJohnston: there is a dispute going between me and user:Weaveravel, i reverted his controversial edit on 24 February at Afghan name, He merged ethnic Pashtun name article with "Afghan name" without any discussion, which is totally against WP:POV & WP:Guidelines. Pashtun ethnic are native to both Pakistan and Afghanistan so it cannot be merged with Afghan name or Pakistani name article.

Now after 6 days he reported me at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents and @NinjaRobotPirate: blocked me as a Suspected sockpuppet of User:ShahabKhanJadoon1, without any explanation or evidence, He not even allowed me to defend myself. Ytpks896 (talk) 17:16, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
