Sorry, but I had to undo your edits as your citation style is not proper. For example, you added the sentence "The subsequent pala rulers were bent towards Shaivism" before an existing reference (Bagchi 1993, page 19), which does not support your addition. Have a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources to learn how to use inline citations.
