About Time[edit]

Thank you for beginning to add information from About Time into classic Doctor Who serials' articles. It is much appreciated. However, as the information you have added is more similar to analyses rather than reception (critical evaluation of the story), it may be better added to a new section titled "Themes and analyses" or something similar (see Genesis of the Daleks) - though if they do review the serial, by all means also add that information to "Broadcast and reception". Also, it is encouraged to add page numbers to book references. If you have questions, you can contact me or WP:WHO. Welcome to Wikipedia and happy editing! No problem. And you're right - I just noticed the page number thing while doing An Unearthly Child. Glimmer721 talk 17:28, 10 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Wood[edit]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Brian Wood. For future reference, though, remember to include the publication date in your citations, at least when they are available, which they are for the three citations you included with your material. Publication date is far more important and relevant than the date when you accessed the material. The access date should be a substitute for the publication date only when the publication date is not available (though there are many citations on Wikipedia that include both). For now, don't worry about it, I added the dates for you.

Also, punctuation goes before the citation, not after, and without spaces, as indicated by WP:PAIC.

If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 14:17, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there.

Just to let you know - "Hitman" was co-written by Steve MacManus & Simon Geller. IIRC from "Hit One" onwards Geller had writing credits alone.

Just my opinion of course, but everything after Horst was terrible. They could probably have pulled off the hits by introducing a completely new character and story, but for Rogue - pshaw. Should have let him go out on a high. Chaheel Riens (talk) 09:14, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Game of Thrones[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Game of Thrones (season 5). Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. You need to learn how to source things properly. Speedy deletion nomination of Kingdom of North Sudan[edit]

Hello Winter's Tulpa,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Kingdom of North Sudan for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 01:27, 15 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Seconded! This capricious deletion of interesting pages that are not deemed worthy of the interest of the Wikipedia editor clique is verging on vandalism. --bonzi (talk) 19:36, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pro wrestling names[edit]

Hello. I have a question. In the Luke Harper discussion, you said the project can discuss a sub-policy for the name of the pro wrestlers (of course, not against major policies). As far as I know, there is two policies, COMMONNAME and NAMECHANGE. However, I think it's hard to apply NAMECHANGE since pro wrestlers change their names so often. Actors, musics or similar maybe change one or two time sin their lives. Pro wrestling is fake and wrestlers perform as characters, but the are presented under the ringname, like the WP:STAGENAME (reliable sources calls them by the ring name even for out of character news, [1] Sky Sports says Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch get engaged, not Colby Lopez and Rebecca Quinn). However, they usually change the name if leave a promotion. For example, Albert Hardie wrestled as ACH for 12 years in several independent promotions, so the name os ACH (wrestler). When he signed with WWE in 2019, he wrestled as Albert Hardie Jr. Then, WWE changed his name to Jordan Myles. Two months later, Hardie left WWE and wrestles as ACH again. In just two months, we have 3 changes of name. John Hennigan worked in WWE as Johnny Nitro (2004-2007) and John Morrison (2007-2011). Then, he worked on the independent scene as John Hennigan (2012-2014). Then, worked in AAA and Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo (2014-2018). Then, as Johhny Impact in TNA (2017-2019). Now, he came back to WWE and works as John Morrison again. My point is, several wrestlers change their names to often and at the end, some will be names with a less known name. It's hard to applie the NAMECHANGE, since most of them, will be against COMMONNAME. So, do you have any suggestion? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 13:22, 25 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
