Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a newspaper. As such, it takes a long view with regard to events. Please respect the consensus expressed in the introduction to charts such as those on the Andy Murray page, and only update those charts when the tournament is over or at least the player is out of the tournament. Ranking updates[edit]
For tennis rankings, we always wait till the ATP updates it's site (usually on Mondays). You made changes today before Monday but the ATP has also updated it's site early. No problems with that at all, good job. But the ATP sites rankings also come with the date June 29 attached. It's important since that starts the new week of rankings. Country of most subscribed youtube channels[edit]
Why is the country that a youtuber born in more significant than the country they live in now? Suppose a child was born in South Africa to parents from the United Kingdom who were on vacation. A week after their birth, the family returned to the UK. That child then went on to become a successful Youtuber in the United Kingdom, having lived there all their life and never went back to South Africa. What would be the purpose, then, of putting "South Africa" as their country on the List of Most Subscribed Users on Youtube instead of "United Kingdom?" What I'm trying to do is instead of including a decimal in the statistic (4.8 million), I'm replacing it with a plus sign (4+ million). Flags in Infobox[edit]
Hi Wingding341. I hope you are well. I see you have been changing a few flags in infoboxes, so I thought I'd explain the consensus on how these are used in snooker articles. We've had quite a few MOS issues (specifically MOS:ACCESS) regarding flags, one of which being that MOS:INFOBOXFLAG means that flags really shouldn't be used in infoboxes at all. However, in the main body (tournament draws etc) we need to define to the user what flags are, which is why you often see {{flagathlete}} used for the first round of the draw and in qualifying. As a compromise, we generally also use this in the infobox. I've reverted a few of these, but if you could change back any others you've done, I'd appreciate it.
