The article Life does not lose its value has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Film appears to be non-notable - no references in article, and none could be found using standard searches. The subject of this article does not appear to meet the WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. April 2012[edit]

Hello Wilmamassucco. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Life does not lose its value, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Scopecreep (talk) 14:30, 13 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Giuseppe Berton.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Giuseppe Berton.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 14:42, 18 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Autobiography and self-aggrandizement[edit]

Hello, Wilmamassucco. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Life does not lose its value, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Life does not lose its value. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 23:37, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

November 2012[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed your recent edit to La vita non perde valore does not have an edit summary. Please provide one before saving your changes to an article, as the summaries are quite helpful to people browsing an article's history. Thanks! ukexpat (talk) 14:03, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

June 2014[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to La vita non perde valore may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • in Naples. Title ''Child soldiers in the Globalized North? Organized crime and youth in Naples'' (thesis by Alma Rondanini, Prof. Giovanni Scotto - A.A. 2012/2013]</ref>,<ref>[http://www.eugad.eu/

Free image of Giuseppe Berton[edit]

Hello, I noticed you uploaded an image of Giuseppe Berton at File:Giuseppe Berton, photo shot by Wilma Massucco in December 2010.jpg, with all rights reserved, and the image is used here under fair use. I wonder if you would consider to free the image, using a free license like Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike. That license allows everybody to use the image, modify it and even the use for commercial purposes; your authorship will always be recognized (attribution). In that case you accept this, we could upload your image to Wikimedia Commons. That way, we could use that image on other sister projects like Spanish Wikipedia, for the article about Giuseppe Berton. What do you say, are you interested? Cheers :) --UAwiki (talk) 04:47, 12 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello UAwiki, I agree to give a free license to use Father Berton image, i.e. Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike, but I can't find the way how: can you please help me? Moreover, for the spanish wikipedia edition: please note that Giuseppe Berton is the protagonist of the documentary La Vita Non Perde Valore, thanks to which the director was just awarded of an Italian National Award on Human Rights, i.e. 2014 Maria Rita Saulle Award. Cheers.

Hi Wilma, thank you very much! I think the best way to proceed is this: first, upload the image to Wikimedia Commons using the Upload Wizard (I suggest you use the same name for the image). Just follow the steps since you are the photo author/owner/copyright holder. Second, I think it is better to send an authorization to our OTRS system, that is, an e-mail stating you are the copyright holder of the image and you agree to use a free license, like CC-BY-SA 4.0 for example. Please follow there the steps at the "Declaration of consent for all enquiries" section. Third, once your image is uploaded to Commons, clic on Edit, and you will see some lines, one of them says "|Permission = "; there, please add this text after the equal sign: {{OTRS pending}}. And finally, you may request the deletion of your file on this English Wikipedia, adding this code: {{speedydelete|Author request, file now on Commons with free license}}. Don't worry for the deletion, in English Wikipedia can use the same image that is on Wikimedia Commons, you won't miss your image. Cheers and I hope these steps are not very difficult :) --UAwiki (talk) 04:48, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
