Lack of response on Gibraltar

Just to explain why you are unlikely to get a response from the usual suspects, we have all agreed to stay way from the pages until sunday. It is to give everyone a chance to wind down and disengage from the battlefield and come back with a new mind set. It isn't that we are ignoring you :) --Narson ~Talk 10:21, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Ahaaa I see, no worries. And I thought I had just failed to wear deodorant today...!WillDow 10:24, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

Liverpool Media Academy

Please continue to keep an eye on Liverpool Media Academy. I removed the text that sounded like an ad, but another editor may try to restore it. - Eastmain (talk) 17:23, 12 January 2010 (UTC)

Bill curtiss

Hey there. Just to inform you: I've changed the {{db-a1}} tag you placed on Bill curtiss to {{db-G7}} as author had blanked the page. IlyushkaTalk!Contribs 10:42, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Jessica Morden

Thanks for the quick response. Cheers! 82.6.52.193 (talk) 12:18, 13 January 2010 (UTC)

Hi! Just to let you know 'Knittedfriend' is back crayoning on the Jessica Morden article again. I'm undone his edit for now but I'm sure he'll be back. I'll let you know if he continues. Cheers. 82.6.52.193 (talk) 19:28, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

You may wish to join in the discussion on the talk page, as the usual suspects are edit warring rather than discussing. Edit warring to a "consensus" view that they agreed amongst themselves. Justin talk 17:28, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

Light Infrantry by any chance?

I used to know a Corporal Willdow of 2 LI some time ago. Cough, like about 25 years, ago, cough, cough. Justin talk 17:05, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

Ahaaaa if I were only alive that long ago! REME myself, was never one to edge towards the cannon fodder infantry regiments!Willdow (Talk) 17:10, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
Among the reasons for my departure, was the realisation that my training in constructing trenches with overhead protection was not to protect the valuable resource that I'd become after my training on Milan, but because the signature of the weapon made the firer an obvious 'effing target. Justin talk 17:14, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
A good choice considering the bullet magnet characteristics of it! I preferred being away from whizzing bullets, playing with helicopters. In the infamous words of the Capt. from Full Metal Jacket; "In the rear, with the gear...!"Willdow (Talk) 17:29, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

pciture from the green zone of major K Shaw of 14 signal regiment ROyal signals late october 2009. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.136.205.56 (talk) 11:36, 11 March 2010 (UTC)

Really? Where is the crown on his rank slide to show he is a major? And is that really the green zone? Perhaps you would like to pinpoint on the map where these rolling green fields and bare trees are? Looks more like a recruit posing somewhere in England during basic training. Maybe even during trade training near Blandford...? Certainly fits in with scenery. WillDow (Talk) 11:43, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
