I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Sandbox[edit]

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at Talk:Risks to civilization, humans, and planet Earth's talk page. 17:07, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

About your sandbox: It serves as a testing spot and page development space for the user that is not subjected to the rules or whims applied to an article. It is more private than the article space, although technically anyone can see it, or even edit it (though it's impolite to edit another users sandbox without explicit permission). It also has it's own talk page, so you can solicit advice and critique while developing.

About notification: I have Talk:Risks to civilization, humans, and planet Earth in my watchlist (yours is here), which shows the most recent edits to pages I choose to watch, in a convenient centralized location, thus I would have known automatically. However, many editors do appreciate a note on their talk page (there are even templated messages, like the one above, for it) when someone replies to their discussion elsewhere.
