AIV[edit]

Thank you for making a report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. Yamaka122 ...:) 18:38, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are four warning templates WP:WARN usually given before a vandal is reported to AIV. If the final warning hasn't been given the user is usually not blocked.Yamaka122 ...:) 21:54, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Curious[edit]

Might you tell me why you briefly posted that report on the Brazil edit war to my talk page? I have had other strange notices appear that were not for me and I am trying to figure out what is up. Thanks. Awadewit | talk 19:00, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In User talk:Yamaka122 (who is a Admin - I think), there is a "You can click here to leave me a new message. I will reply on this page unless you request otherwise." link, equal to yours. So equal that it directs to YOUR talkpage! Wildie 19:09, 27 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish language map[edit]

Leave Brazil and Morocco grey and the map will be perfect! I'm sorry that you don't like my style but I've been trying to get the map changed for 6 months and am a bit desperate! If I knew how to change the map I would. Sorry.

Thanks[edit]

fixed. :) Serendipodous 15:46, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

learning Portuguese[edit]

Check out my user page. Also see the ongoing discussion in my talk page. Thanks. I am just curious; how did you learn English? Your English is very very good. I am a native English speaker. I'm monolingual at the moment. I am also blind, so if I change the format of an article, sorry. User FilipeS is helping me. He's also a Portuguese speaker.

RfH (Request for Help)[edit]

Wildie, I was wondering since you're one of the few Brazilian editors around, if you could take a look at the disputes on Telebrás, Zélia Cardoso de Mello and Plano Collor. I'm having an issue with Ludovicapipa and it'd be really helpful to have an editor who can read and understand Portuguese. Thanks!--Dali-Llama 15:25, 6 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

reply[edit]

Hello User Wildie. I was wondering if it is difficult to understand European Portuguese as a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker.

Learnportuguese[edit]

User Husond is also helping me. Did you see my QUESTION FOR PORTUGUESE SPEAKERS section on my talk page? I'm trying to start a discussion there by users who are from the Portuguese-speaking world. Check it out. It's a separate section.

learnportuguese 18:46, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

English must be much more difficult to learn than Portuguese. What is so difficult would you say about learning Portuguese? I think tensing verbs is very difficult, and the fact that there are so many vowels to master.

saudade[edit]

I've read the article on saudade. It's a very hard word for me to understand. It's a very informative article.

Thanks for all your information. It's really helpful. ... Obrigada.

learnportuguese 17:52, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

One thing I find really hard to master in Portuguese is how to write the words why and because. I know they are almost the same. Is there a way I can remember to tell them apart?

College term starts January 10 and so I won't be on Wikipedia nearly as much. I thought I'd let you know. Just put my pages on your watchlist and you can start new discussions if you want. I think it's excellent what you have contributed so far! :-) User:Learnportuguese 04:38, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
