Re. your question[edit]

Hello! It comes back as a word-for-word copy of an existing Wikipedia article. Furthermore, the titling is incorrect. It should be The Fat Tail. You can use this as an automatic redirect to the existing article or, better still, add the info on the new publication to the existing article. I hope this helps. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:42, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ah, I've found the problem. This is content which has been deleted via a community consensus and as such, I'm obligated to delete it. Sorry. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:48, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, but Google had it come back as an article which had been previously deleted. My suggestion at this point would be to request that the issue be revisited by the community-at-large. To do that, post a request at Wikipedia:Articles for undeletion. This way, you can hopefully get community consensus to reverse the decision. Frankly, it looks OK to me, if a bit promotional. Good luck. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:51, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. That definitely changes things; those reviews are what will get it to stay. I'd further suggest that you recreate it under the original, full title. Good luck; I have to log off. Take care and thanks for asking for help. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:58, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You betcha. I was able to log on for just a moment; I'm glad I caught you. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 03:08, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:53, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Fat Tail, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
