Acknowledgement.[edit]

Just writing to let you know that I read your latest messages. I had planned a chunky reply, but my real life has suddenly got busy so I'm going to be out of wiki-action for a while.     ←   ZScarpia   17:40, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No worries, hope everything's okay. WelshDude2 (talk) 10:09, 4 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Notice

The file File:Jewish News 1168 CorbynvStarmer.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-free image of newspaper front page being used in a WP:DECORATIVE manner in Jeremy Corbyn#Defences which fails WP:NFCC#1 (WP:FREER) and WP:NFCC#(8 (WP:NFC#cite_note-3 and WP:NFC#CS). Although there is content related to the defamation cases and their settlement referred to on the front page, there is no specific sourced critical commentary related to the front page itself or even newspaper front pages in general which means there's no real reason why the reader needs to see this or any other non-free image of a newspaper's front page. Omitting the image does really impact the reader's understanding of relevant content about either Corbyn or the settlement in any way, which means there's no real justification for its non-free use.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:35, 17 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
