Lemnia saucia moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Lemnia saucia, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Amkgp 💬 16:39, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Donald Albury. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Cape Sable seaside sparrow seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donald Albury 15:30, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to Seaside sparrow, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube or Sci-Hub, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:

  • If the linked site is the copyright holder, leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page;
  • If a note on the linked site credibly claims permission to host the material, or a note on the copyright holder's site grants such permission, leave a note on the article Talk page with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you are the copyright holder or the external site administrator, adjust the linked site to indicate permission as above and leave a note on the article Talk page;

If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. Donald Albury 15:37, 23 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm readded Seaside sparrow article's subspecies section and handle content with some changes, please take some time to look if is that appropriate. Weather Top Wizard (talk) 00:22, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Cape SAble seaside sparrow[edit]

I have reverted your latest edit at Cape Sable seaside sparrow because the material you added was ungrammatical and did not make any sense in English. I know you can do better, so I do not understand why you made that edit. Please do not edit articles unless you can create grammatical and meaningful English sentences. - Donald Albury 16:54, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Magic Jewelry Title Screen.png[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Magic Jewelry Title Screen.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:15, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The file File:Magic Jewelry Title Screen.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:DECORATIVE non-free use in Hwang Shinwei#List of Hwang Shinwei games which fails WP:NFCC#8, WP:NFLISTS and WP:NFTABLES. There no sourced critical commentary of this title screen anywhere to be found in the Shinwei article or anything else related to the game that would justify this type non-free use per WP:NFC#CS.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Marchjuly (talk) 05:04, 28 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
