December 2019[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Ganges, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Toddy1 (talk) 12:10, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Chaminar, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 12:43, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at David Frawley, you may be blocked from editing. Doug Weller talk 12:43, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important Notice[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

February 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Taukeerppw. I noticed that you please follow WP:COMMONNAME you changed in an article, Mughalsarai Junction railway station, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you- Taukeerppw (talk) 05:00, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As per above, maintain WP:COMMONNAME. Edits like this contravenes the said policy. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 08:11, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Prayagraj Observatory. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Do not move articles without discussion. It contravenes WP:COMMONNAME policy. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 18:50, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to North East Delhi riots, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. ⋙–DBigXray 11:24, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at North East Delhi riots. S. M. Nazmus Shakib (talk) 11:45, 26 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction[edit]

The following sanction now applies to you:

You are banned from editing articles related to India (broadly construed) for a period of one year.

You have been sanctioned repeated disruptive editing, introducing copyright violations in Indian articles as well as white-washing articles in violation of WP:NPOV.

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/India-Pakistan#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. qedk (t c) 21:29, 2 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

QEDK, I see this user continuing to edit India topics. Look at this edit in particular, which has been labelled as "spelling edits". -- Kautilya3 (talk) 23:54, 12 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Kautilya3 Sorry that was a genuine mistake. I was trying to edit this particular line "In the 2014 general elections, BJP won both the Lok Sabha seats in Goa.[18] eR.Parrikar " .Note the "eR" before Parrikar, I felt it was out of place. No clue how the previous lines got deleted. I know it sounds unbelievable, but my intention was not to indulge in vandalism. Apologise for my mistake.Varun2048 (talk) 07:11, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps it was an honest mistake. But the fact that you were editing an India-related topic is a genuine violation of the topic ban. So, were the seven other edits you did before this, especially to contentious topics. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 08:27, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's been only 2 months since I started editing Wiki, so I am not clear on what topic ban means. I thought I would be automatically prevented from banning certain articles. Does this topic ban means I have to avoid editing from my end? -- Varun2048 (talk) 09:06, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The sanction notice asked you to look at the "banning policy" page. It looks like you haven't yet done so.
The community expects you to respect the ban. If you don't, you can be blocked. That includes correcting spelling errors as well as asking others to correct them. You are best advised to stay off all India pages. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 18:54, 13 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, Thanks. -- Varun2048 (talk) 05:13, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Since it was by accident, it's alright, be sure to take care next time. --qedk (t c) 23:41, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested arbitration enforcement in response to your topic ban violations in the India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan topic area. Please see WP:AE § Varun2048 for details. — Newslinger talk 07:28, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

April 2020[edit]

To enforce an arbitration decision and for the breaches of your topic ban raised in this AE request, you have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month. You are welcome to edit once the block expires; however, please note that the repetition of similar behavior may result in a longer block or other sanctions.

If you believe this block is unjustified, please read the guide to appealing blocks (specifically this section) before appealing. Place the following on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Please copy my appeal to the [[WP:AE|arbitration enforcement noticeboard]] or [[WP:AN|administrators' noticeboard]]. Your reason here OR place the reason below this template. ~~~~}}. If you intend to appeal on the arbitration enforcement noticeboard I suggest you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template on your talk page so it can be copied over easily. You may also appeal directly to me (by email), before or instead of appealing on your talk page.

Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 12:17, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder to administrators: In May 2014, ArbCom adopted the following procedure instructing administrators regarding Arbitration Enforcement blocks: "No administrator may modify a sanction placed by another administrator without: (1) the explicit prior affirmative consent of the enforcing administrator; or (2) prior affirmative agreement for the modification at (a) AE or (b) AN or (c) ARCA (see "Important notes" [in the procedure]). Administrators modifying sanctions out of process may at the discretion of the committee be desysopped."

Additionally, I'd strongly warn you, given the number of issues which are already expressed above, that if you make any further problematic edits anywhere on Wikipedia, it is likely that you will be blocked from editing indefinitely. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 12:21, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
