Re:Barev[edit]

Barev Vartan, vorbessee type @ness Hyerenov, you have to download Armenian font (if you don't have one already). Once you dl it, install it (drag it) into your computer's "Fonts" folder situated in "Control Panel". After you do that, check the "Language bar" on your taskbar next to to "Start". Right click the "Language bar" (it should read EN at this point). Anyway right click go to settings --> Add --> Armenian and just apply it or OK it and it should add it to your shortcuts to font. Now whenever you wanna type in Armenian, just click on the "Language bar" and select "Armenian(HY)" and you got it. [1] this is a site with Armenian font Dls if you dont have it. I suggest the third one - "Arasan". - If you have any questions, msg me.

P.S. Vartan mi mornar Sign @nel your msgs. - Fedayee 20:54, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Graphic of the Army Structure[edit]

Are you working on Army? or Armed forces?( Army, Air Force...)

Usually only on the Army- but as Armenias Air Force is rather small (3000 men) and contains also the Air Defence units- I would do both in this case- as i did with Slovenia and Czech Republic and Austria for example. nocladorNoclador 06:24, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

How do we know your not a spy? Vartanm 08:56, 2 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very witty- I only use the information that i find on the web- so, if Armenia does not reveal this information to the public, then I'm not gonna search for it- there are 50 other armies I still have to work on. nocladorNoclador 06:24, 3 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the link- but it does not lead to the necessary information. What i need is something like this link [[2]] from the official homepage of the Chilean Army. Maybe the Armenian or Russian version has this information??? (but i neither am able to read the one or the other of these languages.Noclador 16:02, 4 March 2007 (UTC))

So sorry[edit]

I'm so sorry, but I have to write this. Some vandal post a comment on massacres of Hamid II, and you changed the name of the post as "Childish Turkish brain". I asked it on my talk page, I learned that I cannot change what other people writes on talk pages, but I can only request from them to strike their comments. So, I politely request that you strike your "Childish Turkish brain" heading, since unfortunately it is not possible to make personal attacks against IP users, even if they are vandals. If I make a mistake on Wikipedia rules, forgive me, I learned all these rules from User:Vassyana on my talk page. Cheers:).Ayasi 18:30, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

An Arbitration case involving you has been opened: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan. Please add any evidence you may wish the arbitrators to consider to the evidence sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan/Evidence. You may also contribute to the case on the workshop sub-page, Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan/Workshop.

On behalf of the Arbitration Committee, Thatcher131 03:25, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Based on your participation in the case and your reversions of Nagorno-Karabakh against two other users who are involved in the case, Arbitration Committee member Macksensen has listed you as a party to the case at my request. Thatcher131 03:25, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • I saw your post over at thatcher131's page. You already had a statement (which I'll move back to the page; I moved it off the RfAr page when you weren't named), you -may- wish to add to it, but if I were you I'd focus on gathering evidence to prove your stance. - Penwhale | Blast the Penwhale 03:36, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of Arbitration Committee injunction[edit]

The Arbitration Committee has adopted a temporary injunction in the case of Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan, in which you have been named as a party. The injunction provides: Until the conclusion of this case, all parties are restricted to one content revert per article per day, and each content revert must be accompanied by a justification on the relevant talk page. Violators may be blocked for up to 24 hours. The case remains open for the submission of evidence or proposals. This notice is given by a Clerk on behalf of the Arbitration Committee. Thatcher131 03:25, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Khojaly[edit]

Adding tags to check the neutrality of the article and such isn't going to help much. If any action is taken, the user is likely to simply vandalize the page again. The guy isn't even truly editing the article, he's just pasting stuff from Azeri news. As I have said, I've requested that the article be semi-protected, and I've warned "Patriot" against vandalism. The best thing to do for now is just have people watch the page and revert his edits. -- Augustgrahl 18:16, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration case, in which you were named as a party, has closed. The decision is as follows:

AdilBaguirov, Artaxiad (formerly User:Nareklm), and Fadix are each banned from editing Wikipedia for a period of one year. Aivazovsky, Atabek, Azerbaijani, Dacy69, Elsanaturk, Eupator, Fedayee, Grandmaster, ROOB323 and TigranTheGreat are each placed on standard revert parole; each is limited to one revert per page per week, excepting obvious vandalism, and required to discuss any content reversions on the article talkpage. ROOB323 is also placed on civility parole for 1 year.

You may review the full decision at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Armenia-Azerbaijan.

Hi. You restored edits of sock accounts to this article. I expect you to provide quotes from the sources you readded to the article asap, as you ignore my posts on talk of that article. I raised the issue with the administrators, because proxying for banned users is not allowed. Regards, Grandmaster 11:20, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for checking this. Just fixed the language, did not check the sources. Cheers! Tazmaniacs 00:41, 1 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Atabek[edit]

Please try to remain calm when discussing the sock puppet case with Atabek. His language seems to be escalating the situation, and if this turns into another ArbCom it won't help if we joined in the shouting match. He'll get himself into trouble if he keeps accusing other people of acting in bad faith, but there's no reason we should drag ourselves down with him. -- Augustgrahl 17:25, 16 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As you just reverted something that appears to be controversial to some users, please go to Talk:Armenia and help build consensus on this issue or clarify where it has been done on wikipedia. --Kukini hablame aqui 18:00, 22 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting image[edit]

I found this image on the Iranm-Azerbaijani relations article, uploaded by an Iranian user. Apparently, this is the cover of a 5th grade history book from Azerbaijan entitled "Fatherland." It shows most of northern Iran and significant portions of Armenia (including all of Lake Sevan) and Georgia (Kvemo Kartli and southern Kakheti) under Azerbaijani control: [6] This is getting to be ridiculous! -- Aivazovsky 18:00, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Though it would be nice to have Ararat, Van, etc., I don't think we will see either of these maps become a reality in the future. I can't see Turkey giving Eastern Anatolia to the Armenians or Tehran giving Aliyev approval to annex Iranian Azerbaijan.
Hey, and if Azerbaijan tries to invade Armenia, they will end up looking aggressive and expansionist, not just in the eyes of Armenians but in the entire international community. We live in a different time now and if one state invades another state, there will be a very strong reaction...and, of course we do have a military agreement with Russia... -- Aivazovsky 18:21, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
