Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Thank you for uploading Image:122245.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 21:45, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Speedy deletion of Tio1.jpg

A tag has been placed on Tio1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Marlith (Talk)  23:49, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Tio1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Basketballoneten 23:49, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

Hi MisterWiki - you wrote: This is an important article, see all the links who have Tio1.jpg in the wiki of Inciclopedia, appears in 200.000 pages and why are not important.
Perhaps it would have been wise to make some claims to importance and notability in the article, then. As it was, there was nothing to indicate that the article was on a notable subject whatsoever, and even if it is linked in the way you state, then there is still little reason to suggest that Tio1.jpg is notable. It could, for instance, be claimed that the "open book" motif used as a background on Wikipedia's pages is part of millions of web pages, but that doesn't necessarily make it a worthwhile subject for an article. If you can show independent (non-Inciclopedia) sources showing the notability of the image, then it may bee worth considering an article on the subject. as it is, though, its notability is questionable at best, and non-existent outside Inciclopedia at worst. Orphaned non-free media (Image:ABBArel.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:ABBArel.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 00:52, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:RickAstley2007.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:RickAstley2007.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Rockfang (talk) 12:31, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Revert of my edit

Yo

I'd put Just Good Friends (song) up as a redirect to Bad (album) and you reverted it? Presently all of the song's credits are present on the Bad page and the information on the live performance is present, appropriately, on the Bad World Tour page. Meaning the page only exists to inform users of the following information:

"Just Good Friends" is a song from Michael Jackson's 1987 album Bad featuring Stevie Wonder arguing with him over a girl. One of two tracks from Bad not released as a single, it was also one of two not written by Jackson (Terry Britten and Graham Lyle wrote it). Rolling Stone commented that the song started well, but called it a "mediocrity" , blaming this on Jackson's use of songwriters.

The album credits clearly explain that it's from Jackson's 1987 album Bad and that the song features Stevie Wonder. It also includes the writing credits and mentions specifically that only two song were not written by Jackson himself. So the ONLY information present on this page not already on the Bad page is featuring Stevie Wonder arguing with him over a girl and Rolling Stone commented that the song started well, but called it a "mediocrity" , blaming this on Jackson's use of songwriters.

I'd like to change the page back to a revert. As you can tell, there were only two minor sentences not repeated elsewhere, and neither suggest the song's notability anyway. Please respond swiftly so we can deal with this. (The Elfoid (talk) 19:01, 27 February 2008 (UTC))

Sockpuppet note

Hey there! Thanks for saying I have a sockpuppet, I have always wanted to have one! :-D Two notes:

  1. Unregistered users can give opinion (we don't vote in AFD, we give opinions looking for consensus). Their opinions can be dismissed by the closing admin, but so can be the opinions from registered users;
  2. A friendly advice: you should not accuse people from sockpuppeting unless you have solid proof of that. An anonymous editing 4 minutes after a registered user does not make him his sockpuppet (because that is failing to assume good faith on the anonymous, which is one of our main policies). The IP comes from Montreal, while I edit from Argentina from either 200.122-127.x.x (my home IPs) or 200.49.x.x (job). I am not sure how often you do that, but before you get used to that, think twice before accusing.

Cheers! -- ReyBrujo (talk) 01:57, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:NeverGonnavideo.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:NeverGonnavideo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla (talk) 17:43, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:FBI with Astley.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:FBI with Astley.jpg.

Thank you. Yamla (talk) 17:47, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

CSD A7

I've removed the CSD tag you placed on Cheri (2009 film), because it does not fit the criteria. A7 only applies to people, organizations, companies, and web content, and as the subject of this article is a film it is not speedily deletable. If you still think the article should be deleted I would suggest that you pursue the articles for deletion process. Natalie (talk) 20:27, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

Please do not haphazardly throw out speedy deletion recommendations. Your reasoning is completely unrelated to the article content whatsoever.

According to the comment, "The reason given is: It is an article about a web site, blog, online forum, webcomic, podcast, online game, or similar web content that does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject. (CSD A7)"

This page has nothing to do with any of those supposed definitions. This page is describing a product and was created as a branch explanation of other software products.

According to A7, "A7 applies only to articles about web content or articles on people and organizations themselves, not articles on their books, albums, software and so on. Other article types are not eligible for deletion by this criterion."

Orphaned non-free media (Image:NeverGonnavideo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:NeverGonnavideo.jpg.

Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:10, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Pablo Zamora and Kurt Carrera

A tag has been placed on Pablo Zamora and Kurt Carrera requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. JonHarder talk 01:43, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Please do not override an administrator's closure of a SSP report, as you did at the above page: doing so is very easily interpreted as malicious or deceitful. If you discover new evidence regarding the case, then you are, by all means, free to file a new report; however, in accordance with these instructions, you should start a new page, by appending (2nd), (3rd), etc... to the end of the old name, and proceeding from there. I have reverted your changes to the above page, and restored Jehochman's closure. Regards, AGK § 19:07, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use Image:Rick Astley.gif

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Rick Astley.gif.

Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 00:00, 23 March 2008 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:DJ Raiden albums, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:DJ Raiden albums has been empty for at least four days, and its only content has been links to parent categories. (CSD C1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:DJ Raiden albums, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. AfD nomination of The Rickrollerz

I have nominated The Rickrollerz, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Rickrollerz. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Image copyright problem with Image:Copyrighted video at YouTube.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Copyrighted video at YouTube.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --03:52, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Never Gonna Give You Up (album), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Never Gonna Give You Up (album) is pure vandalism; this includes redirects created during cleanup of page move vandalism.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Never Gonna Give You Up (album), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. Speedy deletion of 4shared

A tag has been placed on 4shared requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Closedmouth (talk) 14:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Request for Admin Coaching

I am currently editing the table of admin requests to facilitate date sorting (using the format YYYY-MM-DD). I have run into trouble correcting your entry since the Date Of Original Request (June 4th, 2008) is after the Date Page Last Visited (March 23rd, 2008). Since I can't tell if those should be reversed or your original request was from 2007 not 2008, please do me a favor and correct this entry so the sorting of the list can be useful again. Thanks, Padillah (talk) 19:00, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Arriba_en_la_Cordillera.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Arriba_en_la_Cordillera.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Rettetast (talk) 21:31, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for uploading images/media to Wikipedia! There is, however, another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view images you have previously uploaded by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'image' namespace from the drop down box). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading!--OsamaK 22:39, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:UploadingvideoYouTube.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:UploadingvideoYouTube.jpg.

Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:21, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Rickroll'd a la Chilena.png

Thank you for uploading Image:Rickroll'd a la Chilena.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Angr 19:41, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Rickroll'd A La Chilena

A tag has been placed on Rickroll'd A La Chilena requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.

Deadly∀ssassin 22:51, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

October 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Deadly∀ssassin 23:12, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Playlist: The Best of Rick Astley, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.komp3.net/viewalbum/Rick+Astley+-+Playlist+(The+Best+Of+Rick+Astley).html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 19:07, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Rick Astley albums

Hey there. I've noticed you've created a lot of new pages lately, albums by Rick Astley, correct?

I just wanted to tell you that I'm removing "Rickroll" from the Genre section on each infobox. I don't mean to be rude, but in case you don't know, Rickrolling is not a music genre, it's an internet meme. I just wanted to let you know first, instead of just suddenly changing all of the tags... I know you don't own the pages (and neither do I), but I just thought it'd be nice of me to leave an explanation here.

If you disagree on the decision, please contact me. Let's not engage on an edit war. Regards QuadrivialMind (talk) 22:03, 21 October 2008 (UTC)

Question

How is this vandalism? --Smashvilletalk 19:01, 22 October 2008 (UTC)

Please stop applying the speedy deletion template to the page. I have already declined it. Why is that page vandalism or nonsense? --Smashvilletalk 13:24, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
It isn't vandalism but he isn't notable enough to merit an article either. You need more than his imdb page to actually get material for an article and the editor who made the page has been attempting content forks regularly. The proper way to recommend for deletion would be at WP:AfD for failing WP:BIO. Anyone not interested in deleting the article should get busy editing to get it up to snuff. This article should not be left as additional canvas space for a certain problematic editor because other editors will have to mop up after her. He isn't notable enough as this search reveals....*Search the Universal reference formatter for: Dallas Jokic

The point is that the article was neither vandalism nor nonsense and I was not about to delete is as either. --Smashvilletalk 17:19, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I agree with you...my comments above were a suggestion to MisterWiki for the proper way rather than the path that was taken. None of my comments above were intended as a rebuke or criticism for your actions..you did what was right. I apologize if I gave you that impression. ⋙–Berean–Hunter—► ((⊕)) 17:34, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion

Hello, I notice that you seem to be placing incorrect speedy deletion tags on articles. You tagged The Athenian Society as pure vandalism which is clearly isn't. And you thought that Misi was incoherent nonsense, which is also untrue. (I have retagged the latter with {{db-corp}} because it seems to satisfy A7.) Perhaps you could relook at the speedy deletion criteria. Thanks, MSGJ 13:35, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

A few notes...

You really should drop the Rickroll thing...The Rickrollerz was deleted (again) for obvious notability reasons. Since it appears doubtful that the content will ever meet notability guidelines, and since userspace is not "intended to indefinitely archive your preferred version of disputed or previously deleted content or indefinitely archive permanent content that is meant to be part of the encyclopedia", please consider applying at {{db-user}} to User:MisterWiki/Rickrollerz.

Given the results of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rickroll'd A La Chilena, I deleted User:MisterWiki/Rickroll'd A La Chilena for the same reason.

I also deleted User:MisterWiki/Greatest Vandals & User:MisterWiki/Greatest Vandals/Diegogrez...these were inappropriate, in my opinion, because they were reasonably understood to be an attack on the subject and/or recognition of the disruption caused by the individual. Neither is necessary. — Scientizzle 16:47, 24 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for doing that...I hope I wasn't too grouchy in the above message. If The Rickrollerz ever get some real pub, let me know & I'll be happy to help you restore the article. Cheers, — Scientizzle 19:09, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:14, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Problems with upload of Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or provided a license tag. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, select the appropriate license tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you can't find a suitable license tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 6 December 2008 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:LearningToLiveO'ChiRick.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Category:Rick Astley, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Category:Rick Astley was previously deleted as a result of an articles for deletion (or another XfD)

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Category:Rick Astley, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself.
