Animecon AfD[edit]

Hi. You noted that you'd vote keep if the event is a large one. As you can see here, it has several thousand visitors. I have some nice arguments and published sources both, but I'm thoroughly exhausted (middle of the night here) and won't gain access to said sources for another 15 hours, and the nomination is in its final stages - can I ask you to change your vote to "keep"? AfD and the GFDL[edit]

Dear Tx17777,

On a few AfDs I noticed you voted to merge and then delete. I am contacting you here because merging articles does not involve the deletion of the parent articles. When articles are merged, the now obsolete parent articles should be turned into redirects so that the author history is preserverd. Failing to keep track of author history of Wikipedia content is a violation of the GFDL, which is the reason why we keep the redirects rather then deleting them. There are reputable, respectable sources out there making the case for NyLon but those endorsing the deletion have got no eyes for them and seem to stubbornly refuse the evidence . "World capital? Nylon, of course " in "The Observer" Sunday, March 25, 2007 So we'got the Financial Times, we've got The Observer what else on earth do you want more than that?
