- Ah geez, okay, I know what you're talkin about now. I thought you were referring to my bot account, ReaperBot X, so thats why I was confused. I made that template for my bot account in my "Rockbox", which is just a play on the name for my sandbox, and I didnt realize it might fool people. So yea, there is no problem. Typical Tennessean
There's no such thing as a typical Tennessean, or a typical anyone from anywhere. I'd like to think we're all unique. Specifically regarding my home state, however, I hope you're not one of those who thinks "Tennessee" and conjures up an image of hillbillies lying around on bales of hay drinking moonshine with their shoes off, yelling at their 7 children (Billy Joe, Billy Ray, Billie Jean, Bobbie Sue, Billy Jack, Billy Bob and Wilmer, the baby) and trying to figure out how to get the brakes working on the 1968 Chevelle so they can take it down off the blocks in the front yard. Creating new subsections to edit
Some browsers on slow laptops with little memory will slow down when editing a large page. So what people do is create a new section by placing a section header. Mediawiki will then allow you to edit only that section. Another advantage is that editing by section also prevents edit conflicts while typing, which is a great bonus.
So always check if a header wasn't placed just five minutes ago. Else you'll cause an unexpected edit conflict (which then also fubars the browser for a minute while it tries to then load up the entire page anyway - twice!). hi Twas, thanks for the link. It looks like the copyright stuff is pretty much cut and dried, as I expected -- Catbird's rationale for removing info is just silly. I guess the best thing to do is just to keep an eye on it. I reverted some of Catbird's edits a few days ago, and I'll keep watching. Soon we should start handing out warnings for vandalism, I guess. Hi! I need to point out "assume good faith" to you in terms of your replies on the science desk.
Also using a bit of common sense you could have guessed that you had not made a big hit with the questionare and "Yes, I bet you are female. How did I underestimate your intention to gain more knowledge? Through the process of questionizationing? Oh I love verbal superfluousness." is not a peace-maker. An apology would have been better.

Hello again - no I was not the original question asker - nor did I give any of the replies to that question. You are right that you too suffered a personal attack.
I think though that your initial statement "...find this creepy" may have precipitated the conflict. Given that someone clearly took offense at your comment the best course of action woudl have either to apologise or take no further part in the discussion or report the incident.
"Yes, I bet you are female..." is not an apology in any way and is not civil either. I can only suggest that you bring the subject up on the reference desk talk pages for further feedback or use one of the other many methods for reporting problems (you can easily find out about these by asking at the help desk..) Many thanks for putting my name on Wikipedia:List of non-admins with high edit counts, of course adminship is something I strive too! My only concern at the minute is that I've only been on the project since october and probably quite rightly so, people would oppose me for this. My aim is to keep my edit count up over the next few months and then hopefully someone will nominate me! I'm definately going to leave my name on the list. On another matter, how do you feel we proceed with our album notability proposal? There hasn't been many rejections of the idea, however, at the same time there hasn't been loads of support, and lets face it if we're bold and simply add it into WP:BAND its going to cause uproar! - Okay, thanks. I guess Wikipedia has a right to make those kind of silly rules without justifying them, and I guess we all just have to suck it up. Not on deletion sorting
There's also Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Sexuality and gender, which the project is trying to get everyone to check and use... I'm not sure everyone's using it, but whenever someone pops up on WT:LGBT and mentions a deletion discussion, I'll probably be letting them know about it. ;-) This is not to say that the project talk page can't be used, but there is a dedicated place for these things. — coelacan talk — 10:25, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

As noted, I'm a little too close to the categorization scheme, so having others involved is quite important. The appropriate title of the wavefunction article is currently debated on its talk page. All participating in the discussion seem to agree that the correct title should be "wave function", but there seems to be some uncertainty as to whether this is indeed the case. - I believe it should be "wave function" as two words. Also Rpbigger makes an excellent point. I enjoyed reading this article, but she is correct that the phrase "wave function" does not only apply to quantum mechanics. For example, consider electromagnetism. In general, a wave function is a solution to a partial differential (wave) equation... How the heck did I end up here? I saw your edits to breast implant and thank you for them, and particularly your inclusion of the photograph of extracapsular rupture (which I uploaded). A single editor who makes his living puttin' em in, so to speak, has claimed ownership of the article, making it very contentious.. But one of my interests now is homeowners association which you may or may not find enlightening. Nothing like suspense and intrique. One day I will write a book entitled "Hostile Takeover" and "How to Embezzle a Million Dollars". One day (when I am 80) I will figure out what I want to do when I grow up. Until then, my avocations and vocations are rather eclectic, as you can see. Maybe I should learn French. All I know how to say is "I don't speak French." ;-) Jance 03:39, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
