Hi, welcome to Wikipedia. I have removed your addition to Black moon and Rothschild because your proposed additions did not refer any reliable sources. All text added to Wikipedia should refer to reliable sources. Cheers, John Vandenberg (chat) 11:43, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Truthiracy (truth + conspiracy) A 'truthiracy' is when a conspiracy becomes the 'truth.' A conspiracy is a spiral of lies, and a truthiracy is a spiral of truth. The 'con' in conspiracy means "to fool." The word "Truthiracy" was created by researcher Christopher Lord who produces documentary films which can be seen on youtube at Truthiracy1. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.155.185.101 (talk) 23:41, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome[edit]

Hello, Truthiracy, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  Dougweller (talk) 21:43, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Chevron Corporation, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of previously published material to our articles as you apparently did to Belief. Please cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 07:25, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Truthiracy, is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Truthiracy[edit]

Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. Well, it may not have been a hoax, but it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. The only reference was for the word "true". It appears to be a neologism made up one day.

You have an obvious conflict of interest when it comes to editing articles about this subject. Thank you for declaring your interest. If, after reading the information about notability linked above, you still believe that your new word is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (and that there is significant coverage of the topic in reliable, independent secondary sources), you could, if you wish, post a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles for the article to be created. See also Wikipedia:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:31, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
