Cybercafe.com[edit]

I recenty made an AfD for Cybercafe.com, when an admin came along and deleted the page, while leaving the AfD page up: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Cyberpunkcafe.com. Should I have not made the page? -WarthogDemon 07:07, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, that just happened to me (Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Wine Kone). There are three ways to delete stuff: speedy deletion (WP:CSD), which is articles that can be deleted without discussion: nonsense, blatant advertising, vanity articles, etc. Proposed deletion (WP:PROD), which is for uncontroversial deletion candidates that do not meet the criteria for speedy deletion. These articles can be deleted if a {prod} tag stays on the article for five days. Then there is Articles for Deletion WP:AFD, which is a five day debate on whether or not to delete an article. You just have to use your best judgement to decide what kind of deletion to use. Also, AfDs that were speedy deleted stay up as a record. I've logged an incident report based on User:Miracleimpulse's latest accusations against me and since you also were referred to as a "spin doctor" in this accusation I thought I'd let you know in case you wish to comment. Phrasing on Holidays banner[edit]

I used the phrase "supported by", as opposed to the older "part of", because some editors have objected to what they perceive as a claim of ownership which they saw in that phrasing. German Valley, Illinois[edit]

Well, I would like a few images for the page of German Valley if you don't mind. Maybe one of the downtown for the page at least? Why not expand upon the article and research it. Rockford, Illinois is up for collaboration if you see the talk page for it. There is a whole bunch of material missing from the Talk:Conservapedia page. The deletion or revert is not showing up in the history. What happened?

A whole bunch of stuff got archived from that page here: Talk:Conservapedia/Archive 1, is that what you are referring to? As for refactoring, it isn't something I've ever done, I've just archived stuff, so I don't have any experience with it. i'm posting the same thing on your pages as i posted on Mykll42's. All I can tell is, that it looks like someone has done a whole lot of cutting and pasting -- check out the military sections. Specifically, USS New Jersey and List of Marine Corps Weapons articles. Copious amounts of information are well edited with no citations and a single reference to work in the public domain. Copyright notice at MTG article.[edit]

First: Minor gripe, but no need to make three edits when one will suffice.

Second: Those notices are there by the terms of the "with permission" from Wizards of the Coast. Yes, we technically don't need them because we're still using it based off a fair use rationale. That said, there is no requirement *not* to use them, either, and it's being a "good neighbor" to do so.
