Tooling University cleanup

I cleaned up the Tooling University article. Now it looks like a Wikipedia article, instead of a copy of your "about" page. It needed more background; not that many people today even know what "tooling" is. There's an active metalworking community on Wikipedia, and now that it's linked into the metalworking categories, others will probably edit the article and have more to say. --John Nagle 19:41, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of File:Tu calculator.jpg

Proposed deletion of Tooling University

The article Tooling University has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable educational body.

Fails WP:GNG for lack of secondary attention paid to it.

A privately owned specialist training website. There are a myriad of these, and it's unusual for one to achieve notability. No evidence that this one does.

May be notable by inheritance (although see WP:NOTINHERITED) as it's now owned by the SME, a notable industry body. That seems to be its only claim to notability - is it enough?

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File permission problem with File:Toolingu logo.jpg

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

• make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
