The DYK nomination is so old I'm sure it won't be approved, but thanks for wanting to share the credit. I appreciate your generosity. BTW, if you're going to continue creating film articles, be sure to use the correct infobox template (the one you used is outdated) and try to complete as much of the required information as possible. Have fun! LiteraryMaven (talkcontrib) 14:39, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On the contrary my friend, it's already on queue 6 and will be on the mainpage tonight. --TitanOne (talk) 05:17, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Tom Sawyer (1930 film)[edit]

Updated DYK query On July 15, 2009, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Tom Sawyer (1930 film), which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits your article got while on the front page (here's how) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Flickr[edit]

Hey, I saw you inquired about usable images on Flickr. When you're on Flickr's main page, click on "search" next to the search bar (you can leave the search bar blank). You will then be prompted with a new search bar; on the far right is a link for "Advanced Search". Click that, and then scroll down to the Creative Commons section. Check the boxes for both "Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content" and "Find content to use commercially", and then search for whatever you want. Hey Thanks, I'll try that after I'm done with may Wiki-break. --TitanOne (talk) 06:21, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for making WP:NODRAMA a success![edit]

Thank you again for your support of the Great Wikipedia Dramaout. Preliminary statistics indicate that 129 new articles were created, 203 other articles were improved, and 183 images were uploaded. Additionally, 41 articles were nominated for DYK, of which at least 2 have already been promoted. There are currently also 8 articles up for GA status and 3 up for FA/FL status. Though the campaign is technically over, please continue to update the log page at WP:NODRAMA/L with any articles which you worked during the campaign, and also to note any that receive commendation, such as DYK, GA or FA status. You may find the following links helpful in nominating your work:

  • T:TDYK for Did You Know nominations
  • WP:GAC for Good Article nominations
  • WP:FAC for Featured Article nominations
  • WP:FLC for Featured List nominations
  • WP:FPC for Featured Picture nominations

Again, thank you for making this event a success! --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 02:48, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ondine[edit]

Important! - Round up what few ballet enthusiasts you know on Wikipedia and get them to vote on the proposed merging of the Ondine articles that would see the article about Frederick Ashton's production of the actual ballet, being merged into one about the music.

See here: - Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Classical_music#Straw_Poll

And please vote to oppose this change, as this music would not have been written had it not been for Ashton's ballet!!!

Thank You
