nodeBB Deletion Proposal - Don't Give Up[edit]

@TiaZzz: I ran across the AfD entry for NodeBB (WP:Articles_for_deletion/NodeBB) a few days back and have been commenting on it ever since. I came by to urge you not to give up. When the thread there got posted to NodeBB and some people came by to defend it against a silly incidence of deletionism, a bit of a hornet's nest got stirred up because of what they call "meatpuppetry" here. But the editors telling you what makes "notable software" obviously hail from the rare bird department and haven't the slightest conception of this crazy new medium called the web that we all write things about software on.

So I don't give this AfD a great chance of decent resolution, and while I make some fun of the other editors, we must always assume good faith on their part (WP:AGF). That said, I urge you to appeal the decision, and when that fails, recreate the page. Be ready to cite your sources of course, and also have on hand all the wacky letters we love throwing around on here. For every policy that gets thrown at you, there is generally a policy somewhere that says or implies the opposite. I've seen too many people proffering reasonable articles get beaten back by AfD trolls this week; keep up the good fight.--69.204.153.39 (talk) 00:14, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
