Hi Threepeater11! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Streetwalker (Michael Jackson song) several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. I have no idea if your a bot, but I am a Big Michael Jackson fan who is careful with sources, Streetwalker is a fan favorite song so it deserves a page of its own, I wanna work this out so it comes through in the end Threepeater11 (talk) 19:32, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The song must meet the notability requirements of WP:NSONG (click to see the requirements). You have to find mainstream publications talking about it in depth, not just listing it or mentioning it in passing. Without some strong support from WP:Reliable sources, the page Streetwalker (Michael Jackson song) can only be a redirect to MJ's discography or a particular album project such as Bad. Generally you would cite the sources as footnotes so that the reader can see them listed as references. Sometimes people state the source explicitly in the text, for instance writing that Joe Schmoe wrote [whatever] in Rolling Stone November 2022 about the song. Ah, There are not too many sources since the song was on a 2012 re-issue anniversary album, but I used a video from a mostly trustworthy youtube channel for main resources and some song demos that were leaked that supports evidence from mjjcommunity.com that 2 other versions were made from different producers.
