Disambiguation link notification for January 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Junior doctor, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Strike and BMA. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Re Liverpool Medical Students Society[edit]

Hi Thomasjhpowell. Do you mind explaining the recent reverts on the Liverpool Medical Students Society page? I edited the article as it read as promotional material as opposed to encyclopedic (please see the WP:NOTPROMOTION guideline). As far as I have read into the issue, the society is no longer affiliated with the university or the Liverpool Guild of Students as per sources provided, therefore it is reasonable to remove these statements. As per your edit summary on your latest revision - the article does not stand to provide information for students - it's an entry in an encyclopedia. As noted on an old entry on the talk page, this is not a website for the society. Also, removing current information which to most people would appear essential to the society is not appropriate either; this applies to negative information. As you may have an interest in the topic, I thought I'd give you the opportunity to address these issues, and that we might open a discussion. Many thanks Ollysay hi 23:19, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
