Original research[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Cupressus arizonica, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. --Rkitko (talk) 01:11, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

Hi Joey, I replied to your messages at User talk:Rkitko#Request for explanation of photo removal. Just two quite notes: New messages are usually placed at the bottom of the talk page and don't forget to sign your talk page posts with ~~~~. Cheers, Rkitko (talk) 03:52, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 04:17, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Cupressus glabra pollen cones.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Cupressus glabra pollen cones.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Uploading free images to Wikimedia Commons[edit]

Thank you for uploading free images/media to Wikipedia! As you may know, there is another Wikimedia Foundation project called Wikimedia Commons, a central media repository for all free media. In future, please upload media there instead (see m:Help:Unified login). That way, all of the other language Wikipedias can use them too, as well as our many sister projects. This will also allow our visitors to search for, view and use our media in one central location. If you wish to move previous uploads to Commons, see Wikipedia:Moving images to the Commons (you may view previous uploads by going to your user contributions on the left and choosing the 'file' namespace from the drop down box (or see [1]). Please note that non-free content, such as images claimed as fair use, cannot be uploaded to the Wikimedia Commons. Help us spread the word about Commons by informing other users, and please continue uploading! feydey (talk) 11:50, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Callitris oblonga.JPG missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Callitris oblonga.JPG is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors to make better use of the image, and it will be more informative for readers.

If the information is not provided, the image may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions please see Help:Image page. Thank you. feydey (talk) 11:51, 11 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Eriogonum encelioides moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Eriogonum encelioides, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:23, 23 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Themodoccypress. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, Draft:Eriogonum encelioides.

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it. — JJMC89(T·C) 01:28, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
