Just a warning, the repeated insertion of unverifiable information into the Episodes of Lost (Season 2) article is a violation of a consensus policy. Continued violations of this policy will be considered vandalism, and blockable offenses. --DDG 19:42, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

We've been over this before on the talk page of the episode page. Even if the promo photos suggest that it is "Jack-Centric" there is no verifiable way to prove that the episode will feature his flashbacks. The goal of this article is to be encylcopedic, not speculative. There are many other forums on the internet that welcome that kind of speculation. --DDG 21:48, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Characters of Lost[edit]

While Desmond, Henry Gale, and Juliet are confirmed characters for next season, we should not jump the gun and include them yet. Season 3 has not begun. This has been the consensus on not only Characters of Lost, but at the Lost template's talk page. Please read WP:NOT#Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Thanks. -- Wikipedical 18:44, 19 August 2006 (UTC) Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, you will be blocked from editing. . LAST WARNING![reply]

Disneyland Beijing[edit]

Your source for the claim that a Disney park is under construction in Beijing is this 2001 report. However, this January 2006 article contains the following statement directly from Disney:

Media reports that claim Disney is building a park in Beijing are inaccurate and not based on fact. Disney has no plans to build a park in Beijing at this time.

Please supply more credible evidence before making claims that a Disney theme park is under constructon in Beijing. Disney has never built a theme park without announcing it publicly first and you yourself admit that the Disney-esque construction in Beijing may not be an official Disney park. I have therefore removed your contribution to Walt Disney Parks and Resorts (as follows). —Whoville 17:17, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The construction of a park in Beijing has begun and is reported to be complete by the time of the 2008 Olympic Games.
Are you referring to this? No matter what it looks like, it's not a Disney park and reportedly construction was abandoned about 15 years ago. See the original thought and crystal ball sections of WP:NOT for more perspective. —Whoville 00:50, 5 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Prime minister of Sweden[edit]

Fredrik Reinfeldt was formally elected prime minister of Sweden as of today (2006-10-05), and therefore I'd like to ask you to stop changing the name of the swedish PM to Göran Persson in for example the article about Sweden, as well as Prime Minister of Sweden. Thank you. /M.O (u) (t) 20:13, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Outer space[edit]

Do you have any grounds for your assertion in Outer_space that unprotected humans would freeze in milliseconds in space? It's flatly contradicted by the NASA doc cited in that very paragraph. SeanWillard 23:44, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Check out the stub tags I put on the recent articles you created. I think those are more accurate; don't you? Anthony Rupert 16:37, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source for Image:Frilled Shark.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Frilled Shark.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 19:51, 24 January 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. malo (tlk) (cntrbtns) 19:51, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

hi

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Frilled_Shark.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Frilled_Shark.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use images[edit]

Please take the time to read our policy on using fair use images. You specifically went against policy and clear instructions in Josh Holloway to not re-add fair use images [1]. Cheers Nil Einne 18:10, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edits to Paris Hilton[edit]

Please stop editing this article, by changing her occupation to criminal (and convict). Her arrests play a minor part and the edits introduce a point of view to the article, contrary to Wikipedia policies. -- Longhair\talk 03:09, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Christianity by country[edit]

Greetings

I see you commented on the Talk:Christianity by country page some time ago. There is currently a request for comment out on this page. I would like to invite you to comment. There seems to be some opposition to using the Eurobaromter 2005 figures for the number of Christians, instead of the inflated non-sourced estimates of the CIA Factbook.

See here for details .. Talk:Christianity_by_country#Eurobarometer_-_appropriate_source.3F Vexorg 17:51, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey monkeyhate, I just nominated List of Lost episodes for Featured List status again and was hoping you could support or comment on the nomination at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Lost episodes. Thanks. -- Wikipedical 07:21, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Jamilmullen3ud.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Jamilmullen3ud.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Regarding edits to Jokela school shooting[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, The monkeyhate! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule photobucket\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links guidelines for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Peter Peterelli edits[edit]

My apologies, I think that your question would have gone unasnwered in the ensuing archive, which I performed and which accidentaly sent your recent comment to the archive. In the future, a good way to avoid this is to post comments on longer sections down at the bottom, calling the continueation an 'arbitrary break' or 'revisit', or whatever strikes your fancy.
In answer to your question, the column attracted the opinions and speculations of other contributors, and often resulted in uncited material ending up in the article, As a lot of the information as to when, where and from who Peter received his abilities is in the plot section, it doesn';t need to be included in yet another place. i also understadnt aht you see it as an ease of use issue. Unfortunately, while we do strive to make information easy to find in the article, we must attempt to strike a balance between allowing uncited speculation to have a soapbox and affording the reader the opportunity to take the time to actually read the article, which is precisely out goal. I hope that explains the current position better. :) - Arcayne (cast a spell) 22:35, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at an article before you edit it. The image you added was already in the article, in a different place. We don't need the same image twice. If you want it moved to the infobox, that needs to be discussed on the talk page first. Ward3001 (talk) 20:51, 13 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It has been established that if the group lineup was unchanged when the group was famous, then the four members can be listed in "current members" in the infobox. Steelbeard1 (talk) 18:01, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 2008[edit]

The image we have in the infobox for The Beatles is free of copyright, unlike the one you replaced it with. Per this policy, we cannot use non-free images where a free (of copyright, that is) can be found. Also, I'd just point out that this edit summary is at least unhelpful and a breach of civility policy. Please comment on content, not other editors. I know it gets frustrating here sometimes, but that is unnecessary. Thanks. --Rodhullandemu 13:32, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request to move article Wonder Boy (song) incomplete[edit]

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Wonder Boy (song) to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 03:02, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm![edit]

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 09:41, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Premiere magazine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. V. Please take a look at WP:REDLINK; it just means that there is no article yet for the link, and it seems that there are enough sources for one, but it just hasn't been created yet. Meanwhile, deleting sourced material, redlinked or not, is vandalism, so I invite you not to do it again without discussion. Rodhullandemu 15:31, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA reassessment of Swedish literature[edit]

This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force in an effort to ensure all listed Good articles continue to meet the Good article criteria. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed, listed at Talk:Swedish literature/GA1. I will check back in seven days. If these issues are addressed, the article will remain listed as a Good article. Otherwise, it may be delisted (such a decision may be challenged through WP:GAR). If improved after it has been delisted, it may be nominated at WP:GAN. Feel free to drop a message on my talk page if you have any questions, and many thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this article thus far.
