I know you're only trying to be humorous on Bangor Grammar School, but Wikipedia is not the place to put jokes about your friends and yourself. Please stop adding this material to the article. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:10, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Banter Bus[edit]

Please stop adding this section to Bangor Grammar School. If there is a society called "The Banter Bus" then list it. Made-up names and your opinion of how wonderful everyone is are not encyclopaedic and don't belong on Wikipedia. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 18:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My response remains as above. I'm not stopping you adding the society to the page, just the irrelevant detail you're adding with it. The criteria that Wikipedia works to is not "it's true because I'm assuring you it's true" but "it's true because I can prove it's true". If you could cite some mention of "The Banter Bus" on the school website, for instance, there would be no problem. You also need to leave out opinions about the society and its members. It doesn't matter whose opinions they are, and who has approved them, Wikipedia works on facts, not opinions. (Unless the opinion is of someone notable, i.e. an expert or someone in a position of authority, someone whose opinion we may be interested in.) --Escape Orbit (Talk) 09:19, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
