Your contributions history shows that you have been aggressively cross-posting in order to influence Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Veljko Milković (2nd nomination). Although the Arbitration Committee has ruled that "[t]he occasional light use of cross-posting to talk pages is part of Wikipedia's common practice"1, such cross-posting should adhere to specific guidelines. In the past, aggressively worded cross-posting has contributed towards an Arbitration Committee ruling of disruptive behavior that resulted in blocking2. It is best not to game the system, and instead respect Wikipedia's principle of consensus-building, by ceasing to further crosspost, and instead allowing the process to reflect the opinions of editors that were already actively involved in the matter at hand. Your UserPage was discussed as it is a recreated of deleted material. The conclusion was that the deleted article, Veljko Milković, should be userfied to your userspace in order to preserve the history, and to allow you to work on the article to bring it up to a standard acceptable to the Wikipedia community. I have restored the deleted page to User:Ternit/Veljko Milković. You may work on it there. I will watch the page and note progress. If there has been no reasonable progress within a month I will delete the page, and you will need to apply to have it userfied again. The material on your userpage should be removed by yourself, and anything you wish to save can be merged into User:Ternit/Veljko Milković. When I check on User:Ternit/Veljko Milković in one month's time, I will also check on your userpage, and if I need to delete User:Ternit/Veljko Milković I will also delete the current contents of User:Ternit. If there is any aspect of this that you are not sure about, please get in touch with me. I wish you luck in bringing User:Ternit/Veljko Milković up to scratch. The month is almost up, and I note that you have added very little to the article. You have added two references which do not assist with the question of notability, which is why the article was deleted in the first place. Unless you are able to add reliable sources which confirm the subject's notability we won't be able to put the article back into mainspace - and, as no significant progress has been made since I userfied it, then - unless you can give me a good reason for letting it stay a bit longer - I will delete User:Ternit/Veljko Milković. Any questions, please get in touch with me. SilkTork *YES! 07:47, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have re-written the most of the article to meet the neutral point of view criteria and added only new third-party English sources. I didn't add non-English sources; could it be added? Thanks. Ternit (talk) 07:44, 1 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Verifiability#Non-English_sources and Wikipedia:External_links#Non-English_language_content give guidance on non-English sources. Essentially, such sources are acceptable if there are no English language sources available. However, if you cannot find sources which would satisfy questions about notability, then the article would not be acceptable to the Wikipedia community. The main issue was that Veljko Milković was only of local interest, and that there were no reliable sources outside of the local newspaper which mention him. I think that in this situation you need to be looking for decent English sources rather than returning to the local newspaper. That source was discussed and found not acceptable enough. Veljko Milković[edit]

Hi Ternit,

What relationship, if any, do you have with Veljko Milković?

--SmokeyJoe (talk) 10:14, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I see no significant advance in the article since it was decided to delete it. I have given you notice to make progress on it, and nothing has been done to make the article more acceptable to the Wikipedia community. Under the agreement of the discussion the article was to be either returned to mainspace or deleted within a couple of months. I shall now delete it. If you feel you would like another temporary review then you may approach an admin here. If you do ask for another temporary review, I suggest you make a more considered effort to find acceptable sources. SilkTork *YES! 20:21, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
