TGen Drug Development[edit]

Wikipedia's inclusion criterion is called WP:Notability and is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by references to "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Two of the references in that article seem to be press releases, and the third does not mention the company; and the link you gave on my talk page refers to something one of the company's peple has done, but is not about the company. See WP:Notability (summary) for how the requirement is interpreted.

As this article was deleted as a result of a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/TGen Drug Development, it will not be brought back on request: you should first approach user Secret (talk), the administrator who closed the discussion; if you can show him references to establish notability, he may agree to undelete or to "userfy" the article for you to work on. Then, if your concerns are not addressed, you can go to WP:Deletion review.

As far as other articles go, see WP:Other stuff exists: out of 4 million articles, many are substandard, but that is not a reason for allowing more, so each article is considered on its own merits. Having said that, yes, Paclitaxel is a product, but from the long list of references in the article it clearly passes the "notability" test. When you say "sports teams can create wiki pages" - they don't create their own, if we can help it, and they certainly don't control them. Wikipedia works hard not to be a platform for promotion, and editing with a WP:Conflict of interest is strongly discouraged, because people close to a subject find it hard to maintain a neutral point of view. (If you are connected with TGen Drug Development, please read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide).
