Undoing multiple edits[edit]

I see you were struggling with undoing multiple edits. Might I suggest WP:TWINKLE? It has one click reversions and lots of other useful features. Oren0 (talk) 19:22, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creating section "headers" that don't appear in ToC[edit]

{{helpme}} I've been digging around the different style guides, and I haven't been able to find it (nor can I remember which article I saw these used in). But it's basically a way of creating a header in an article (similiar to using "==" to indicate a new section), but doesn't actually appear in the ToC. Is this anything special, or just formating the text manually? -- TRTX T / C 14:43, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to Help:Section#Making a heading that does not show up in ToC this could once be done by using HTML header tags, but is now impossible. Algebraist 15:15, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rockband[edit]

Minor Edits[edit]

I understand. This is due to my account preferences. I have been reminded of making too many minor as major updates. I see what can be done Fireblaster lyz (talk) 15:58, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Drummania/GuitarFreaks Soundtracks[edit]

Note that Fat Lip and Paranoid existed in the latest Drummania V4 series and in Guitar Hero I. If not mistaken. I would also appreciate assistance in making the lists sortable. Thanks. Fireblaster lyz (talk) 16:02, 27 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Geez. I wonder what's wrong with me. Now you are driving some sense into my brain cells. Thanks for the heads up. Also, if time permits, do make the a sample list (sortable) in List of GuitarFreaks & DrumMania songs. (: Greatly appreciated. Fireblaster lyz (talk) 16:40, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your message at User talk:Barneca[edit]

Hi TRTX,

I'm sorry, I'm not really active on Wikipedia for a few days/weeks, and I can't devote any time to this problem. If the problem is persisting, I'd suggest going to ANI. Sorry to hear the problem has returned and sorry I can't be of help right now. --barneca (talk) 19:33, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hahaha[edit]

I read your edit on The Invasion:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=The_Invasion_%28professional_wrestling%29&action=history

"Rewritten to sound less like real events"

I just thought that was worded pretty funny. When I read everything you took out and what you replaced it with, I laughed out loud and said, "Ha, he's right." Nice edit, there. -- Frightwolf (talk) 18:54, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

:/[edit]

The way you feel arguing with this Chris kid on the dlc article is exactly how I used to feel arguing with you and everyone else about removing songs from the dlc list. This is what it looks like when people forget all their common sense and cling stupidly to the rules. I hope you remember what it feels like to be on this side the next time someone else tries to inject some simple common sense into an article. 142.106.63.213 (talk) 20:17, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

I want to thank you for taking the time to work though this, as well as attempt to get outside opinions in a neutral manner such as you did here and [1]. I have also asked in a similar manner for the outside opinion of those not as close to gaming, but extremely familiar with wikipedias policies and interpretations. I hope there are no hard feelings over this and want to thank you for your hard work on this project. It is easy to get heated (I will admit, this is one of the only topics I have become mildly heated over any time recently). Thanks again, and I do look forward to future editing with you. Supporting my RfA[edit]

Thanks for the support but the RfA had already closed and I was promoted to administrator. I really do appreciate the vote of confidence. Oren0 (talk) 16:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources for the new Guitar Hero[edit]

No Sleep Till Brooklyn is heard in the same video as Misery Business is seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cN2QBP0OCw Soul Doubt already has a source in the paragraphs below the table. In The End, The Joker, Beat It, Obstacle 1, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Light My Fire were all said in the latest Stuff Magazine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Unknownsage13 (talkcontribs) 00:56, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Similar Articles[edit]

If Rock Band is included, shouldn't all the other Guitar Hero series games?? FogDevil 00:54, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There's no need for GH links in the GHWT article because it will have the Series info box at the bottom (just like every other page). -- TRTX T / C 03:03, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re[edit]

Um, just curious, but at what point is it appropriate to falsely accuse users of multiple violations of Wikipedia guidelines and then react poorly to an appropriate response to such an absurd suggestion? - A Link to the Past (talk) 17:49, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I guess instead of being pissed that I am forced to discuss the same thing OVER AND OVER because certain editors would rather throw themselves in front of a bus than allow this title to remain where it is, I'm actually pissed because you're trying to change my baby article (hint: sarcasm). I take offense because you refuse to provide a better argument than the one provided, but still relent on attempting to get it moved. If the argument provided by supporters then was strong enough, it would have been moved, but it wasn't - consensus isn't just about getting the most supporters, it's also about the argument. If there was one supporter who pointed out that The Shake Dimension was only released online, and in limited quantities, and had no news coverage in PAL regions, while Shake It! won awards, sold millions, and won game of the year 2008, that person would "win" the debate no matter how many people opposed the move. But the focus of your argument, like the previous argument, is Google hits - anecdotal arguments. If you want it moved, you need to show a certain level of instability, which is not people trying to move the article, the article's quality be damned. You bring up naming conventions, but also ignore instability, which is a strong part of naming conventions - without requiring you to show instability, any article could be moved for the most minor thing. It was determined that there was no instability in the previous discussion, what about the article is unstable now? - A Link to the Past (talk) 18:54, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
