Tamil To Do page

Hi, I just made some suggestions on the To Do page for Tamil. But the edits don't show up. Possibly something to do with moderation? --Chandrachoodan Gopalakrishnan

Hi Sunder, thanx for the interest -- good of you. Regarding myself, my TaayMozhi is indeed Telanga, but my family hails from Karnataka (place near Mysore). I am therefore fairly good at speaking both Telugu and Kannada. In actual fact, my connection to Tamil is tenuous, based as it on a few years' residence in Kongunadu, but during that brief period, I somehow developed a fascination for pure "newsreader" Tamil. This makes me only more conscious of how little I actually know the Tamil language, and that is why I have not claimed even elementary knowledge of Tamil on my userpage.

To this babel-bhurji, I will add the point that I grew up in Delhi. And needless to add, whatever my interests may be, I shall never be as good even in my own mother-tongue as I am in English. Alas. ImpuMozhi 00:41, 9 December 2005 (UTC)

refining new goals

who defines the Top level priority? looking at the history, it seems that you play a part. india's featured articles seem a little dry at the moment. there is a distinct lack of articles related to contemporary indian culture. what is there to show that india's culture is alive & kicking as opposed to stale & dead? even the page on mumbai shows little evidence of living culture. why isn't bollywood a Top level priority? i'd like the world to know more about modern india. for balance perhaps top priority show go to articles about; 'the changing attitudes to sex in india'. other Regional notice boards are more balanced. the irish are working on Father_Ted. the japanese on Education_in_Japan. U.S._Southern on Hurricane_Camille etc. what we need are more FAs that that would make an interesting Today's featured article. surely Top level priority should goto more articles with worldwide popular appeal to balance all the dry articles? Sundar, I am not looking for you support at all. Tell me how you got around to supporting dab's POV on rajput debate? I would like to see what part of dab's POV appeals to you. My guess is you have no reason to support dab but just you want to oppose anything that is labelled hindutva POV. Mind you all these smart ones are operating without references, without having read a single book on rajput history. And you are supporting them. If you believe I am pushing Hindutva POV you should have the decency, being a fellow India, to ask me first rather then going blindly and suppporting a false accusation. hi, malayalam i can read, but writing is not good and tamil i can't do either, though i understand tamil. ml wiki i have added some images from commons and provided english menaings to the entries in ml wiktionary.
