Hi Randor1980. I recently removed a speedy delete tag that you had placed on Rebecca Brown (vlogger). Rebecca Brown (vlogger) was tagged too quickly to fit the speedy deletion criteria  because (per our WP:CSD guideline) "Contributors sometimes create pages over several edits, so administrators should avoid deleting a page that appears incomplete too soon after its creation." Please give adequate time (usually at least 10 minutes) before tagging a new page in those cases that are not clear vandalism or copyright violation.. I request that you consider not re-tagging Rebecca Brown (vlogger) for speedy deletion without discussing the matter on the appropriate talk page. Thanks — CactusWriter (talk) 20:39, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Unless I missed something, that looks to be a part of Category:Brazil political party colour templates and that whole scheme. I just can't figure out if it's duplicative to Template:Party shading/Republican Party of the Social Order, was that your concern? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 00:36, 24 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Altered speedy deletion rationale: Dr Anju Prajapati Maharjan[edit]

Hello Randor1980. I am just letting you know that I deleted Dr Anju Prajapati Maharjan, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 14:59, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

January 2015[edit]

If a PROD has been removed, you are not allowed to add it again, if it has been redirected to any other article by other editor, you can either write a new article or redirect elsewhere. You cannot restore the removed content only because you want it to be deleted. There is some coverage[1] so you can keep it as a redirect, that may stop the recreation. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 11:13, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Now you have tagged it under R3 without even reading about the deletion criteria, it is not for the "articles and stubs that have been converted into redirects". OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 11:40, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Indianmoney has been deleted under WP:R3. Randor1980t c 11:44, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's good. OccultZone (TalkContributionsLog) 11:46, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SugarRat - I have undone the change you made here. As it states in WP:NOTINHERITED, Note, however, that this does not apply to situations where the fact of having a relationship to another person inherently defines a public position that is notable in its own right, such as a national First Lady or membership of a Royal house. Reference to Dame Thea as the widow of a former Prime Minister of New Zealand is therefore acceptable, as she was the nation's former First Lady. Grutness...wha? 00:06, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Andreas Lubitz for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Andreas Lubitz is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andreas Lubitz (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Max Greger in Wikipedia Deaths 2015[edit]

Greetings ....

Just a thank-you for leaving in my English-Language reference source for Max Greger's passing on the Wikipedia Deaths page. I did not want offend anyone by taking out the German source, so I left it in. As you probably saw, the English source is more detailed and informative. Of course, any non-English speaking folks could use Google Translate or something like it to convert the English text into their own native language.

Month articles[edit]

Per Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years#Using archives of Portal:Current events for month articles, you should stop forming new month articles at the beginning of each month. The action will instead be done by a bot; see Wikipedia:Bot requests#Month articles. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 02:54, 5 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Notifying authors of speedy deletion tagged articles[edit]

Please make sure you notify the authors of the articles that you tag for speedy deletion. I notice that you are using Twinkle to tag articles. It has a built-in notification option. Thanks for adding the ref to Gita Hall on Deaths in 2016[edit]

Thanks for doing that - this is the second time that the "Deaths in 2016" page has frozen on me; whenever I click on "cite" the page becomes unresponsive! I was hoping to come back in an hour or so and try again to enter the citation. Thanks for doing it. MurielMary (talk) 10:46, 17 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion of my edit to deaths in 2017[edit]

My understanding is that you reverted on the grounds that there is no article for the individual that has died. I wasn't aware that this is a rule. It would be helpful if you could quote the wikipedia ruling that governs an action that you take like that, for the benefit of people like me. Otherwise your action might look a trifle arbitrary. Thanks. SewerCat (talk) 15:26, 27 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Moving of Deaths pages, as in "previous months"[edit]

Hi. "The seventh day" (moving day for the old month on the seventh day of the new month) begins much earlier in the USA than in Europe and many other parts of the world due to obvious time differences. Those living in the USA are perfectly entitled to move the data way earlier than seems correct to those people living in Europe and other parts of the world. I suspect they are some 14 hours ahead of yourself in that respect. Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 06:43, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry[edit]

Sorry for accidental rollback ... fat fingers! Regards, WWGB (talk) 09:31, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm still not sure what your issue is with tagging an article about something affected by an ongoing volcanic eruption as needing to be updated. But if in your view there's a more appropriate template, how about substituting that one instead of simply deleting the "needs to be updated" one I used? The section I tagged IS out of date, after all. Cheers, Awien (talk) 16:45, 31 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The current event template is intended for breaking-news articles being edited by many and is usually removed once heavy editing has subsided. Halemaumau Crater had remained unedited for six days prior to this edit. If you wish to indicate an article or section is outdated you may tag it with {{update}} or {{update|section}}.
