Artificial records[edit]

In case you missed it, I elaborated on my edit summary statement regarding "artificial records" at [1]. If you would like to add some commentary, you're more than welcome to. — Myasuda (talk) 02:47, 3 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

3rr warning[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kobe Bryant. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Enigma message 21:01, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you persist in edit-warring, you will be reported to WP:AN3. Enigma message 07:43, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for edit warring[edit]

I have blocked you for edit warring on the Kobe Bryant article for 24 hours. If you wish to contest this block, please use the {{unblock}} template. ScarianCall me Pat! 07:51, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Why am I blocked? What bullshit reasoning. How am I "edit warring"? Because I added a tag to an article that has a dispute over the very subject that the tag makes clear on the article's talk page, and then another poster decides that it is his or her duty to revert this with no reason of his or her own given? Why am I the one being blocked here?

Decline reason:

Please see Wikipedia:Three-revert rule. Stifle (talk) 08:45, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Recent edits[edit]

Hi, the recent edit you made to Kobe Bryant has been reverted. Please do not remove content from pages without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Sorry, I think my edit summary here was in error. I think it was a spelling or random mistake? Renee (talk) 00:33, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:36, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for Edit warring: directly after release of block. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below.

Request reason:

Edit warring? WTF? I didn't even start an edit war. User:Chrishomingtang is the user who engaged in an edit war. Are you blind? Have you reviewed the edit history on the article? I'm editing out POV, and he's reverting it to put the POV right back in.

Decline reason:

The block has nothing to do with which of you is right or wrong; the three-revert rule applies whether you are right or wrong. Edit-warring is pointless, because it is disruptive but no one can win an edit-war. That's why we have a rule against it. Next time, try one of the suggestions at WP:DISPUTE. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 01:43, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I did not revert three times. The other user, User:Chrishomingtang, abused this policy. This should be obvious from not just the edit history, but also just from logic, as he was the user who ENGAGED in an edit war by reverting my changes.

Decline reason:

I count five in 24 hours. Moreover, it's fairly clear after looking though the edit logs that you're TyrusThomas4lyf again. I've taken the liberty of closing out the account for you. Kuru talk 02:59, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You guys both violated the three revert rule. You didn't bother to stop violating the policy despite the fact that you knew the other user was doing the same thing. Use your common sense before you engage in any kind of edit war. I will warn the other user as well.(Planecrash111 (talk) 01:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]

A word of advice don't cuss inside your block requests i know it is shortened, but some people may still be offended by this behavior.(Planecrash111 (talk) 01:18, 10 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]

I take Kuru's side in this argument. You are the one that started the edit war. An NBA scoring award is an award, but you kept removing it and removing and removing it. You have already been blocked twice on this account and a 3rd block will more than likely be indefinite plus the sockpuppet business. I suggest for now on you make more constructive edits that don't interfere with Wikipedia policy.(Planecrash111 (talk) 01:18, 10 June 2008 (UTC))[reply]
