That's Great. Please add you name to the list. The shortcut for the page is WP:BJ. Thanks for your cooperation, 1bevingtonco.

I have started a WikiProject that focuses on all articles related to the Columbus Blue Jackets. I was wondering if you were interested in joining. This blocked user's request to have autoblock on their IP address lifted has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request.

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "ProtektYaSelf". The reason given for ProtektYaSelf's block is: "Disruption on waterboarding; likely sockpuppet account of User:Neutral Good".

Decline reason: I am afraid I have blocked this account until further notice, as it seems to be a sockpuppet account of a blocked user. If this is not the case, please explain how it is possible that you use the same IP address as ProtektYaSelf (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 14:03, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Your explanation is entirely credible. Please understand that the block was made (by another admin) in good faith due to vandalism and confirmed sockpuppetry by another person on the same IP address as you. I believe your record also speaks for itself. If you are still unable to edit (unlikely), please request an unblock-auto or contact me directly. Note that you may unfortunately occasionally be hit by autoblocks due to vandals at your location.

CO2[edit]

From Wikipedia:

"According to the best estimates, volcanoes release about 130-230 million tonnes (145-255 million tons) of CO2 into the atmosphere each year"

"Burning fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum is the leading cause of increased anthropogenic CO2; deforestation is the second major cause. As of 2004, around 27 gigatonnes of CO2 are released from fossil fuels per year worldwide,"

Gigatonne = 1,000,000,000

"A 400-page United Nations report from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) states that cattle farming is "responsible for 18% of greenhouse gases."

No worries - you represented your source correctly, it is just that they did not do the same. - Eldereft (cont.) 23:16, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock still in place, but ip block exemption added (see below) due to this being the second time people have been causing ruckus in a short period of time from your base. --slakrtalk / 12:11, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking administrator: Please check for active autoblocks on this user after accepting the unblock request.

I just want to point out that this is a very high-use IP, as it covers pretty much all internet traffic on DM Air Force Base, so we're talking most likely thousands of people potentially affected. As for me personally, I think my record speaks for itselg. I am an ardent foe of vandalism, and feel I am being unjustly punished for actions outside of my control due to this autoblock. Thanks, SpudHawg948 (talk) 12:00, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since you've got a history of good contributions, and unblocking the ip isn't practical given the rampant vandalism over the last couple of days, I've gone ahead and added and ip block exemption for now so that you can get back to editing without worrying about autoblock issues. Cheers =) --slakrtalk / 12:10, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nah, of course not. I definitely think highly of them. One of my high school best friends is graduating from the air force academy, while one of my close current friends is a reservist. With any group of people, of course, there are good ones (the majority) and then there are total idiots. :P --slakrtalk / 12:19, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sushi[edit]

I think both sides of the argument (and people who aren't even on a side) can end up dealing with silliness simply based off the contentiousness of the subject manner so no worries at all. As far as I am concerned: It has been brought up enough that I hope there is a reliable source out there for inclusion.Cptnono (talk) 10:27, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
