Dear SpaceJace: I see that you are making your first Wikipedia article. That's great! As an experienced editor, I have some advice for you about getting your article accepted:
- Please only cite references that are to publications written by professional journalists or other authors, and not by those connected to the film - for example, the IMDb is not reliable or independent, since anyone can add to it. Wikipedia can't be used as a reference either, for the same reason. Profiles in directories and other material created by people related to the film can't be used either. Good references for a film are usually independent reviews or features in movie magazines and newspaper entertainment sections. If there aren't any of these, the film will likely be judged non-notable.
- Please only add information to the article that is about the film. Information that is about other unrelated productions isn't needed, and other editors will just delete it anyway. Detailed information about those involved in the creation of the film (other than info about their involvement in the film, or course) should be on their own biographical pages instead. Adding all of this stuff just makes it seem that there isn't much sourced information about the film; it has to be notable in itself, not because of the reputations of its creators.
- Please fill in the edit summary each time you save an edit. You may think it's a waste of time, but it's important for the operation of the encyclopedia, and the summaries show up on people's watchlists. It also lets you quickly find at what point in the article's history important changes were made.
- I've restored the two pink decline boxes at the top of the article. Please leave these for now - they help the reviewers see how the article is improving and who has previously looked at it. Also, you can click on the link in the box to resubmit. They are automatically deleted when the article is moved to the main encyclopedia.
