A warning is a warning. A user friendly warning such as a minor message like above is considered a message. About the "Sunrise/Sunset" article I did not "blank" the page. I redirected the page, which was acceptable per WP:NSONGS, which it failed at the time. A AFD usually results in the deletion of a page hence the title Articles for deletion. I did not want the page deleted because in time it might become notable. There is a difference between deletion a article and redirecting it. Sure multiple editors disagreed with it, fans like that often do. Do not threaten me with warnings. Read WP:TPOC, I can remove your comment if I chose. How intriguing. Please, tell me where in this Wikipedia is a user friendly warning such as a minor message like above is considered a message, while a message using a template is not a message. Recent edit to Live Prayer

I reverted your recent edit to Live Prayer. While it is true that the large font size did not appear in the original, this is not the issue as this large font size appears throughout the entire quote. The statement "emphasis in original" is denoting the fact that the original source had the statement "FOR THAT REASON, HE WILL NOT BE RE-ELECTED" in all caps, whereas the rest of the text used normal capitalization. Your edit was reverted as you removed the statement "emphasis in original" for no valid reason as it was added per WP:MOS.

At most, one external link to a commercial topic is usually allowed. The exceptions are rare, and they are definitely not blogs that give readers personal commentary on how difficult it is to shop for shoes. An external link should add something significant and encyclopedic to topic, and in this case, it appears to add nothing. It's just a social site. Take a look at FA articles for major rock stars. Recochoku

Well,the RIAJ Top Digital Songs chart does pass, which is the exact same thing as the Recochoku charts. The RIAJ Top Digital Songs is literally just the Recochoku charts posted on their website lol. It says at the top, （「着うたフル(R)」）, which is the chart made by Recochoku. If you notice, RIAJ has stopped publishing this chart. That is because Recochoku now publishes the cahrt itself.

I'm not trying to start a war or anything. Maybe we could work towards getting Recochoku recognized (since right now, essentially part of Recochoku --the part that the RIAJ had published-- is recognized while the part that the RIAJ did not publish is not.) Impracticable (talk)

Ok, I understand. The first thing I would do to get Recochoku recognized is to update the information on RIAJ Digital Track Chart, and perhaps move it to a different name if that seems appropriate. Then I think since it's basically the same chart, you can make the name change to Recochoku (or whatever the weekly chart is called) on Wikipedia:Record charts yourself, then note the change on Wikipedia talk:Record charts.

The problem I see for Ayumi Hamasaki discography specifically is that there's no space for the digital chart info for Together When... and placing it under the Oricon chart info would be inappropriate. The best idea I think we can do if we want to keep the digital chart info for Together When... is removing the whole single from that table and making a new table for it in a section called "Japan-released digital singles" or something like that. In regards to there being no room for Rechochoku/RIAJ charts, i'm thinking maybe we should change the format of her singles charts. Instead of having the daily peaks, monthly and weekly peaks (which can just be put into the main article) we leave the weekly Oricon peaks, keep the Billboard AIRPLAY peaks (because their Hot 100 is a little silly to begin with.) and use Recochoku for digital. Also, or sales, maybe we should emrge Full Song (Chaku Uta Full) with physical sales (considering digital sales have taken over physical sales, it's a little silly to not include them)

I'm thinking maybe a format like this.

PS, just for the record, I've been the one who's done all the major format revisions of this specific table for the last year or so. (I added certifications, the Billboard section, etc). I feel like a change of this caliber will make it easier to read and simpler, but also more accurate. Instead of showing a billion sales charts (no really, 5 is way too many) and 3 billboard charts (one of which is a sales chart and one is a hybrid sales & airplay) why not have 3 charts that show the three different formats? correct?

My issues: Songs chart seperately on digital charts when they chart together on physical charts. So, that's the reason for that split up. But which song does the physical sales go to? both?

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Personally I much rather prefer having the daily/weekly/monthly/yearly ranks all in there because they're very convenient in comparing the popularity of her singles all at once. I'm also very unsure about having different songs of a single split up, since this is a chart specifically about her singles, not her songs, and splitting them up could imply separate releases. You took the true, referenced fact that on Feb 8th the final case molds were approved, and "reworded" it into an assertion that mass production had begun, and that units had begun to ship in "early February". Both are false.

In fact, no final units have gone to customers because none have been made yet.

"Mass Production" is a little vague, but no manufacturing of interest has "started" recently. The electronics were mass produced months ago, the joystick nubs over a year ago, and the mass production of the plastics will begin either late February or early March.

Ikimono-gakari

What part of the band's website uses "ikimono-gakari"? Logicartery claims their website uses "ikimonogakari" but I haven't found either version on their official website, only いきものがかり. On English language websites, all I've really seen is "Ikimono Gakari". Also you don't have to point out every edit I make that you don't like as you have above. Shinee

Hi! If you remember, you edited the Shinee article with me. I need your help again. Shinee is releasing its second full-length album soon and it seems a whole load of unregistered users (or DA fans!) have started to edit the GA status article a lot. They have even disturbed the general layout without discussion (all musician biographies on wikipedia are required to follow a general layout that can't be changed). Since, they don't even know about the rules and standards of wikipedia it is impossible to hold them back. We rather edit other articles than keep reverting their mindless fandom. But I think it had now become important that we make a separate Shinee discography article. Fans have added even the track listings. This had really messed up the page, but I dont want the GA status to go away since we worked so hard on it :'( . Shinee has now two albums and three EPs (thats even more than Girls' Generation who have only two albums and two EPs, and debuted one and a half year before Shinee). This is alarming indeed; I'm seeing MOS violations all over the place! First, I want to point out that discography sections and articles should in all but the rarest of cases never have tracklists in them. The tracklists should only appear in the album/single articles themselves. Now I have to admit that I still wouldn't support a separate discography article because the size of the Shinee article is still quite small, as is the discography. When splitting off discographies, it's important to also note how large the discographies are in terms of how much information there is for every release. Girls' Generation discography has much more information on their singles, as well as information on their music videos. In any case, the GG discography has information about 59 releases, while the Shinee discography section has only 12. If the Shinee discography had more information on their singles, a music videos section (which actually probably isn't needed), and more releases in general, then it would be a different case. But with just about everything on Wikipedia, the first thing we should be thinking about is the readers, not editors. Tables are things editors just have to learn. Regarding HuH

Although it is true that the song charted at #3 on the Gaon downloads chart, the chart is based on the best selling songs of each week, meaning various album tracks are eligible to chart. An example on this week's chart would be Taeyang's "I Need a Girl". It's at number five this week, but its position is based from downloads of that song from the album, which is why if you scroll down you can find "Just a Feeling" at #79 and "You're My" at #87 - both of which are also album tracks from Solar. Hm, that's very strange. In that case, since the song was released only in Hit Your Heart, do you think it would be better to merge HuH (song) into Hit Your Heart? Unless it does get released separately in the future, it's very unlikely that the article will be expanded, and the information that it does have, like music video, performances, chart info, etc, can easily be included in Hit Your Heart. Hi, I know you meant well, but please don't delete dead links and replace with a cite-needed template, as you did here. From WP:DEADLINK, "Except for URLs in the External links section that have not been used to support any article content, do not delete a URL solely because the URL does not work any longer. Recovery and repair options and tools are available." The citation of a dead link, especially one with an accessdate, indicates that the statement that it supports has had support, and was checked by an editor. It also provides to later editors a suggestion of where the support had been found, which is helpful in case the link is gone due to a website reorganization or move. The preferred handling is to use the {{dead link}} template. WP:DEADLINK is nice how-to guide on marking and (even better) fixing broken links. Thanks for your work. WikiCup 2013 February newsletter

Round 1 is now over. The top 64 scorers have progressed to round 2, where they have been randomly split into eight pools of eight. At the end of April, the top two from each pool, as well as the 16 highest scorers from those remaining, will progress to round 3. Commiserations to those eliminated; if you're interested in still being involved in the WikiCup, able and willing reviewers will always be needed, and if you're interested in getting involved with other collaborative projects, take a look at the WikiWomen's Month discussed below.

Round 1 saw 21 competitors with over 100 points, which is fantastic; that suggests that this year's competition is going to be highly competative. Our lower scores indicate this, too: A score of 19 was required to reach round 2, which was significantly higher than the 11 points required in 2012 and 8 points required in 2011. The score needed to reach round 3 will be higher, and may depend on pool groupings. In 2011, 41 points secured a round 3 place, while in 2012, 65 was needed. Our top three scorers in round 1 were:

1. Sturmvogel_66 (submissions), primarily for an array of warship GAs.
2. Miyagawa (submissions), primarily for an array of did you knows and good articles, some of which were awarded bonus points.
3. Casliber (submissions), due in no small part to Canis Minor, a featured article awarded a total of 340 points. A joint submission with Keilana (submissions), this is the highest scoring single article yet submitted in this year's competition.

Other contributors of note include:

• Sven Manguard (submissions), whose Portal:Massachusetts is the first featured portal this year. The featured portal process is one of the less well-known featured processes, and featured portals have traditionally had little impact on WikiCup scores.
• Sasata (submissions), whose Mycena aurantiomarginata was the first featured article this year.
• Muboshgu (submissions) and Wizardman (submissions), who both claimed points for articles in the Major League Baseball tie-breakers topic, the first topic points in the competition.
• Toa Nidhiki05 (submissions), who claimed for the first full good topic with the Casting Crowns studio albums topic.

Featured topics have still played no part in this year's competition, but once again, a curious contribution has been offered by The C of E (submissions): did you know that there is a Shit Brook in Shropshire? With April Fools' Day during the next round, there will probably be a good chance of more unusual articles...

March sees the WikiWomen's History Month, a series of collaborative efforts to aid the women's history WikiProject to coincide with Women's History Month and International Women's Day. A number of WikiCup participants have already started to take part. The project has a to-do list of articles needing work on the topic of women's history. Those interested in helping out with the project can find articles in need of attention there, or, alternatively, add articles to the list. Those interested in collaborating on articles on women's history are also welcome to use the WikiCup talk page to find others willing to lend a helping hand. Another collaboration currently running is an an effort from WikiCup participants to coordinate a number of Easter-themed did you know articles. Contributions are welcome!

A few final administrative issues. From now on, submission pages will need only a link to the article and a link to the nomination page, or, in the case of good article reviews, a link to the review only. See your submissions' page for details. This will hopefully make updating submission pages a little less tedious. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews.
