All content added to Wikipedia must be supported by reliable sources. The source that you used does not constitute a relaible source. You gave a newspaper source. The media is not a good source at all for archaeology, and it was disappointing to see how unfamiliar the author was with the material. You deleted a large number of academic sources simply because you thought they were biassed, giving preference to a newspaper source endorsing the view of a religiously driven archaeologist. Doug, nothing either of us says will change one another's minds. I will respect it though. I just believe that the extra information provided was irrelevant to the topic of the page and therefore did not belong there.
